Due to them booing the so called 'royal' William & the national anthem yesterday at the F.A. cup final. It made my day :)

Hillsborough was a tragedy.
So was the Heysel stadium disaster in 1985. The behaviour of Liverpool fans there caused 34 deaths and 600 injuries.

Some Liverpool fans were to blame for Heysel. The trouble in stadium was actually started by some Juventus fans, some Liverpool fans reacted to that and a wall collapsed in what was a death trap of a stadium.

I fail to see what relevance that has to 97 Liverpool fans being unlawfully killed and then blamed for it to cover up the catastrophic failings of the police and the FA.

If only more people would critically think about things and follow Liverpools lead

That's why there has to be this overreaction. The Tories/the establishment rely on people getting their education from Uncle Rupert and the Daily Mail.

Yep. The Liverpool fans responsible for what happened at Heysel were convicted of manslaughter.

Nobody has served time for Hillsborough, whether it be corporate manslaughter or perverting the course of justice for decades. Nobody has been held to any account.

I am far more offended by £12m being spent on support for a paedophile than a minority of fans booing a national anthem.

Calling people names like chavvy scum and classless is disappointing but expected People still deny Hillsborough and sing discriminatory songs like feed the Scousers and you'll never work again. I can't even talk about the Hillsborough songs some rival fans chant.

YABU. The Liverpool fans in question are an utter disgrace.

The UK is a democracy, with a head of state kept out of the democratic process but my point was specifically about 'The Establishment'. Getting rid of the monarchy won't get rid of the establishment. If people want to get rid of the monarchy, then reasons other than "it will get rid of the establishment" should be considered.

We pay for whichever establishment takes the place of the previous one.

Interestingly, I've just read that Meghan and Harry are reportedly going to be filming a fly-on-the-wall docuseries in their 'mansion'. If true, I'd rather the Buck House garden parties and I don't even care about royalty.
