Nessie?
A cannibal unicorn?
A secret alien society?

I also would like to know what kind of skills do the right people he is ensuring she has around her have.

link to the BBC because this is a serious business.

Honestly we are watching a man fall apart. I think like Will Smith it will unravel slowly then rapidly and certain not helped by his choice in wife. It wouldn't surprise me if he turned up in some ashram to save himself.

She’s surrounded by staff who constantly ‘remind’ her what to say and do and where to be etc etc - it’s an incredibly bossed about life, I’d hate it. She’s now of an age where she clearly won’t last much longer, and I imagine that Harry, having escaped that life, worries that she’ll die still working and wants to check the people around her actually remember her age and care about her and don’t just drag her to events where ‘The Queen Must Be’ and maybe even let her spend sometime watching telly with her feet up.

Do you think that nobody cares about her but Harry? Old friends, Angela Kelly, Princess Anne, other grandchildren?

I don't get this. Harry hasn't been around and yet the Queen has withdrawn from numerous engagements. Harry has had no say over it. Do you think Princess Anne would let anyone push her mother around? When it comes to speaking up and putting people in their place, she makes Harry look like a bleating baby. If Harry came from abroad where he's been for two years and had the nerve to express that only he knew what was right for the queen, I swear Anne would be wearing a new pair of earrings. 🙄

@LetitiaLeghorn 😂😂😂

Ah, Harry and his mansplaining. His Granny has ruled for a fair few years, yet he thinks he knows better. He does not. Living in his Montecito bubble doesn't really help him as he seems to be retreating further into his own reality. Harry has no input into the RF any more so it's not clear why he sees himself as a protector, I find it a bit sad now that what he says is so far from what he actually does.

AnastasiaRomanov · 25/04/2022 08:25

I read something from a resident in their Montecino neighbourhood who says no one ever sees them. So how Harry can say they’ve been welcomed with open arms and how at home they feel there, I don’t know. Doesn’t sound like they are part of the community at all. More fantasies on his part.

Quite funny, much as I loathe GC

Chilledchablis1 · 25/04/2022 10:55

Very funny article . Like you I can’t stand GC but this hits the nail on the head !!

ChicCroissant · 25/04/2022 11:41

He's nailed it there!

Gilmorehill · 25/04/2022 13:15

Wow GC has summed it up perfectly.

OverByYer · 25/04/2022 16:09

Ha ha that GC article is hilarious. I love it.

Could just be a deliberate teaser for his new book!

First Finding Freedom, now Liberating Lilibet?

You just know you are dealing with a despicable twat when they take a pop at a baby !

notanotheroneagain · 25/04/2022 16:35

Trust GH to go wherever the wind blows. Isn't he the one who confirmed William's affair anyway. Guess he is trying his best to get back on the rf good books, even though no one cares for his hot take on this.

That is what I was thinking.

All those staff members giving her 'advise'.
Harry must know better, he was there, possibly other family members know this, and can't say anything about it. Only Harry can say it. (being outside now). The others would not dare say a thing, since they don't have many options outside the RF.

AnyFucker · 25/04/2022 17:32

GC mostly nails it there, but just can’t help having a pop at Meghan. Predictable.

Oops

queenofarles · 25/04/2022 17:34

How come he’s the only one who knows better?
what about her children ? Anne , Charles? Edward ?
her other grandchildren ?

these people the advisers, they interact with the Queen on daily basis some for many many years ,even way before Harry was born , yet he’s her only true protector ? the only one who knows what’s best for her?

notanotheroneagain · 25/04/2022 17:37

I did not say Harry knows better than the family, he knows better than royal reporters. They all probably know, but can do fuck all about it, since they rely on the rf staff themselves.

LadyEloise10 · 25/04/2022 17:37

It never struck me he could have been referring to PA. Blush
I thought he was alluding to the men in grey suits.
He may be brighter than he's given credit for.

Imissmoominmama · 25/04/2022 17:37

I suspect he just means she’s lost her husband and he wants to know someone is looking out for her in the way Prince Philip would’ve.

queenofarles · 25/04/2022 18:37

the Queen is surrounded by people who are very close to her, Baroness Susan Hussey who she’d known for over 60 years accompanied her on the Car ride to the funeral. Harry left soon after the funeral , And exactly a year later he decided to see her?
nonsense !

I’m not sure how on Earth anyone would suspect Harry harbours any concern for the Queen after losing Philip

The evidence of him missing the memorial and trashing the royal family when Philip was on his deathbed contradicts this !

darlingdodo · 25/04/2022 18:48

notanotheroneagain, in the context of the thread I think SiSiRose is referring to HMQ, who, of course, has been known as Lilibet to those closest to her for 90 odd years rather than Harry and Meghan's daughter.
