Nessie?
A cannibal unicorn?
A secret alien society?

I also would like to know what kind of skills do the right people he is ensuring she has around her have.

link to the BBC because this is a serious business.

From Harry's press agent as he writes new stories for the American market.

Still chortling that Harry is worried he will ‘burnout’ from working at home, by ‘ trying to make the world a better place’
he does hold himself in high regard.

Heh heh, he's gone full-on California dreaming - waffling on in poorly-constructed semi-riddles and making zero sense. He's like any other Hollywood-type celebrity these days - they all use a lot of words, but nothing of any substance or value comes out of them. The rest of the Royals are all equally as pointless, mind you.

To be honest I am not sure who is causing more reputational damage to the crown. Andrew has just settled to avoid a paedophile prosecution but Harry has had a background of open and documented debauchery, saw it fit to dress as a nazi and still has us wondering who is the racist person in the royal family who commented on the colour of his child skin and let’s not forget that book is still to be published (and for those saying he is bright… he doesn’t even have the writing skills to write it himself), it would be interesting to see what other imaginative stuff he comes out with.

As for him being close and probably knowing his grandmother better… Oh well, there is some confusion on what kind of grandmother relationship he has with her, certainly not like the most of us have with ours, as Megan highlighted, he has to curtsy and ask for audience. If I had told grandma I had something important to tell her/have troubles, she would have dropped everything to discuss whatever it was with me over a cup of coffee not leaving me hanging for weeks and, after 2 years of distance, she would have certainly blocked a whole day off in her diary to receive me with hand made food not allocating a one hour audience to talk. We cannot judge the royal family as we do ours, perhaps the closest person to the queen is her secretary and for Harry, his nanny (if Eton didn’t make him forget her or define her as irrelevant).

I’m curious about your assertion PA avoided a paedophile prosecution. My understanding, happy to be corrected, was that VG stated she was 16 + so legally old enough to consent to sex in the uk. Yes, utterly gross given the age difference, but not a paedophile.

The allegation was in two countries VG was under 18, (but over 16) and so there was the potential for statutory rape. However, VG alleged she met PA in a nightclub, presumably 18 +, so he could argue he believed her to be 18.

I do not want to excuse or support PA, but implying he is a paedophile is a step too far.

The best way to raise his profile is to oust his family, so IMHO he is trying to move himself into a position that the rest of the world believe he's the Queens and UK saviour.
Trouble is he's not very smart.

Lockupyourbiscuits · 21/04/2022 14:14

Is it wrong of me to be reminded of Patrick in SpongeBob Square Pants when Harry starts his latest burbling ? 😬

”His most significant character trait is his lack of common sense, which sometimes leads him and his best friend, SpongeBob SquarePants, into trouble. Patrick is unemployed and a self-proclaimed expert in the "art of doing nothing".

uncanny ...

friendlycat · 21/04/2022 14:16

I don’t think he’s bright enough to really recognise the overall impact of his comments. If he were bright he would recognise the hypocrisy of the comment.

I think it’s far more the case of the odd sound bites to show his perceived closeness to his Granny for the American audience and act as a reminder that he’s a descendant of The Queen of Britain. His Royal status being the absolute key to his celebrity status in the USA. As was the comment that Her Majesty confides things to him that she doesn’t to others. Hmmmmm 😀!

😂that comment has got great comedy value. He is a very busy and important man indeed. 😛

SiSiRose · 21/04/2022 14:43

Could just be a deliberate teaser for his new book!

First Finding Freedom, now Liberating Lilibet?

GivememyowlbackSandra · 21/04/2022 15:10

Totally reminds me of the family relatives who visit their granny once a year at the nursing home, complain to all that their granny isn't being looked after very well, and then feck off again for another year, not looking back......

potniatheron · 21/04/2022 15:28

It was a comment about the Queen's Private Secretary, whom Harry hates, apparently. However, I think Harry's choice of words, which made the Queen sound like a vulnerable pensioner isolated on a touch council estate surreounded by potential conmen and grifters, was ill-judged and stupid in the extreme, calculated to ruffle feathers and cast himself in the guise of a hero when she pops her clogs.

he's such a twat these days.

Gilmorehill · 21/04/2022 15:39

Yup! My DM’s sister was just like that.

Yes, well put; I can see that's how it comes across. But Harry can't see it.

He's so busy enjoying his dig at the queen's private secretary that he can't see himself as others see him.

garlicandsapphires · 21/04/2022 16:15

Who is the Queens private secretary anyway?

queenofarles · 21/04/2022 16:48

Sir Edward Young .

Absolutely disgusting of Eammon Holmes to incite violence on TV, saying H&M should be thrown off the balcony. If he says that on national TV, what does he say behind closed doors. I hope Ofcom deals with his mob braying self.

It's just hyperbole. I don't think ofcom will be interested. 😂

notanotheroneagain · 21/04/2022 17:57

Strange that people suddenly know what hyperbole is, but not when H&M say anything.

None possible for unpublished photos

That ought to be obvious!!

Everything is somewhere on the internet.

GreenClock · 20/04/2022 23:27

He strikes me as dim but well-meaning. He’s probably concerned about Prince Andrew’s behaviour and its impact on his grandmother.

Well… that would be a little bit hypocritical of Harry, I bet his book might be more damaging to the monarchy than Andrew’s issue, unless it is all about how he found real love that is.

Oh no. Lilibet's not been on the skunk again, has she?

PierresPotato · 24/04/2022 18:47

I felt from his wording he could be leading up to staging an "intervention.😉

custardbear · 24/04/2022 18:52

I think from nasty people who call the family names, and people who bring Netflix to her door for money ... oh wait 🤣

lightand · 24/04/2022 18:54

Maybe he just wishes he was "protecting" her.

Would that be called projection?

Neverreturntoathread · 24/04/2022 18:55

She’s surrounded by staff who constantly ‘remind’ her what to say and do and where to be etc etc - it’s an incredibly bossed about life, I’d hate it. She’s now of an age where she clearly won’t last much longer, and I imagine that Harry, having escaped that life, worries that she’ll die still working and wants to check the people around her actually remember her age and care about her and don’t just drag her to events where ‘The Queen Must Be’ and maybe even let her spend sometime watching telly with her feet up.
