What happens when foreign dignitaries visit? Do they bring their own people or do our security services provide all their protection?

Many, many visitors to the UK bring their own security people. It’s routine. Use of guns is regulated by an MOU with certain overseas powers but other than that it’s just a private arrangement.

I doubt the HO will change and we know the RF are happy for Harry to be unprotected leaving events. So in effect they are never coming back so that will end that rich vein of will they come back for xyz in the tabloids.

And now everyone will know the RF chose to protect Andrew and refused to agree a basic protocol for Harry even for official events because they either want him and his family vulnerable in the UK or they want them de facto banished but they still want to put leaks out about how hurt / angry / upset they are that the sussexes do not visit.

This statement from Harry has messed up some of their narratives. I wonder what costume from the dressing up box Andrew will wear to watch the jubilee from his sofa?

He is one angry, bitter, damaged man. I have some sympathy for why but honestly he needs years worth of good therapy. He needs to love a quite life away from attention and with that comes a much lower salary. There in lies their predicament. They are both H&M full of self importance, entitlement. They really do need to decide what they want. I suggest they stay out the media and form a real private life!

Good point, I think some of the public are so offended because they feel it's a personal slight, or he broke the pact, which is so weird. But then I think of the "Free Deidre" Campaign 😆

I've always said that in years to come (I'm talking a decade or whatever) it will be so apparent as to why they left. It is to me now, but it will take longer to seep into some of the public's consciousness. The RF are really not covering themselves in glory AFAIC

Harry in January 2020 and his protection was gone in March 2020.
