The Star Claim Kate is Seething with Jealousy over Meghan

I totally missed this. The Star newspaper claimed that Kate is seething with jealousy that Meghan no longer has to abide by Royal protocols and can live her life as she wants.

My personal take is that this is probably over-egged, which trashy tabloids ten to do. But I can imagine her at times feeling a bit jealous of Meghan's freedoms. Surely that would just be natural as she has to follow yet another Royal protocol, and yet sees Meghan doing what she wants to do?

I'm commenting on this thread because criticism of Kate, predominantly her appearance, is something I've noticed on this website.

I used the phrase seething with jealousy because you chose to create a thread about exactly that. Frankly the idea of a mega privileged woman 'seething with jealousy' is amusing.

I questioned your decision to compare Kate to Meghan. You must have known you were inviting criticism of both women when you started this thread. If you think Kate wishes she has more freedom, you don't need to drag Meghan into it. My question about why you specifically think Kate is jealous of Meghan is a perfectly good question.

I agree. It's very odd.

I never put the boot in. I simply don't post saying what a wonderful mother and wife she is. Instead, I frequently say that none of us knows her or knows what she is like.
This is the Royal Family board. Its purpose literally is to say what we think about the RF. It is not a pr board for the RF.

It's not just me that's noticed.

agreed, there is a definite theme with said poster. Bland is a particularly nasty snipy way of describing someone. Just my opinion

Not a nasty attack. Basically, you described Kate as "bland" and doing that was a sly dig at her. When is "bland" ever a positive description of someone?!

Let’s look at both Meghan and Catherine’s most recent public outings
Mid November- Meghan does Ellen interview and sucks on a baby’s bottle in public etc
Catherine - last week. Carol concert at Westminster Abbey with William, several RF members and her own family.

Really can’t see why Catherine would seethe about Meghan’s life

I'm speaking out about something I've noticed on MN- a campaign of hate against ar Kate and William.

I just see people chatting about the RF.

I do see the hate against Andrew.
But anything less than wildly applauding William and Catherine gets attacked. That is unrealistic. Nobody is perfect.
