Harry and Megan have just announced their new baby's name.

What's everyone's thoughts?

@oneglassandpuzzled Your source? He died of Pancreatic cancer according to my source. And it was a miracle he lasted as long as he did according to her.

mathanxiety · 06/06/2021 20:36

It's like you take it personally when people bash them. Such odd behaviour. Like you are obsessed with them.
littlepattilou

I'm probably not the only one thinking the thought I am thinking here...

MaMelon · 06/06/2021 20:37

My views on my own mother's parenting arent particularly generous but it doesn't mean I don't love her.

One - she’s not Harry’s mother
Two - you don’t broadcast your views across the world whilst taking a swipe at the Queen and your Dad.

Roussette · 06/06/2021 20:37

There are quite a few like that on here, but you are the No 1 of the lot. Pretty impressive

Thank you.

dorangme · 06/06/2021 20:37

it’s not his name, his name is Henry Charles Albert David, Duke of Sussex. He could have named his children Windsor or Mountbatten-Windsor

His surname is Mountbatten-Windsor on occasion when a surname is used.

She's his grandmother which makes it less insulting as she didn't parent him Hmm and two, they can do whatever the fuck they like.

Is Harry the first to do this? 🤔

mathanxiety · 06/06/2021 20:38

It's very disrespectful of your source to breach a dying man's privacy and that of his family, @ArmoireArmy.

CokeDrinker · 06/06/2021 20:38

@MaMelon

They haven't slated her though have they?

Their views on her parenting haven’t been exactly generous.

Neither have Charles views on his mother's parenting, but she still voted at a meeting to make him the next King.
smilesy · 06/06/2021 20:39

@ArmoireArmy. The official reason for his death on his death certificate was “old age”

The queen doesn’t vote on the new king, nobody votes on the next monarch.

She did want him to be the next head of the commonwealth though and that was what he was voted to be (don’t know if she actually got a vote in this, but was certainly clear on what she wanted).

They managed to take a swipe at the Queen’s parenting and Charles / hardly less insulting. And yes - they certainly do what the fuck they like (with a one fingered salute and a whinge). That much is obvious.

dorangme · 06/06/2021 20:40

Your posts are the most sanctimonious and condescending on here when it comes to Harry and Meghan. It's like you take it personally when people bash them. Such odd behaviour. Like you are obsessed with them.

Was this meant to be ironic?

Bloody hell this really should be in classics.

Ah so presumably if your parents are shit you just have to put up and shut up? Charles doesn't take his calls. Wtf does he expect?
Charltonandthewheelies · 06/06/2021 20:42

@NoNever

It’s a pretty name.

It’s also an obvious ploy to suck up to the Queen after denouncing her as a crappy mother and head of a racist institution who didn’t care if Meghan committed suicide while pregnant.

This

Yeah, like she’s going to not approve that and cause a constitutional (and every other sort of) crisis as a result.

Yeah, like she’s going to not approve that and cause a constitutional (and every other sort of) crisis as a result.

People Commonwealth-wide were saying it should skip Charles and go straight to William, and her own Courtiers knew this. She could have easily opted for generational change and that would have been supported by a majority of Monarchists. But no she personally opted for Charles.
Pyewackect · 06/06/2021 20:46

@BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz

Sucking up after their faux pas?
Too late. They're on the way out.
dorangme · 06/06/2021 20:46

If the Queen can get over Andrews's friendship with a nonce & Charles talking about his emotionally distanced childhood plus tampexgate I think the she will be ok with the name thing.
