I think its in bad taste personally. Slate your family all over television but then suck up with a name tribute. Makes no sense

Lilibet is cute, as the queen's nickname. As an aside, I'm also an Elizabeth and my elder brother, 2 when I was born, couldn't say my name and called me Bobuff, which stuck as a nickname for a while. I wish he'd managed Lilibet, it's much nicer 😂

It's a lovely name but the context is very odd.

It's a shame that they couldn't show his grandmother the same level of respect when her husband was dying.

I agree with this. Having embarrassed the Queen when her husband was dying, they're now very keen to show how fond of her they are

Yes let's hope he's developed some self awareness and manners, maybe he's been on a course in LA. Perhaps he's ashamed of his Winfrey thing and this is his way of making amends .

It is the Queens special name and they have spent so much time slagging off her family. This doesn't sit comfortably IMO.

It was a given to use Diana and fair enough but why this pretense of respect for the Queen.

I hope someone asks them this question.
