Now that at the other knock off MN chat has been shut down, we seem to have an influx of those posters on here with new or encouraged accounts.

For those who are not interested in trawling through negative post after the other. You can come on here for positive news about Meghan and Harry.

Why not, everyone else seems to be viewed positively, without 'cynicism'. I don't mind taking this at snail pace, we just post on the good things about H&M, they sure seem to be doing a lot of that lately, and it's really buried under the negativity on MN.

Gorgeouslilgirl 🤣🤣🤣
Nothing would surprise me anymore. I've seen it all. Now Bill Gates is uncoupled, I'm expecting a post saying that M has set her sights on him. Watch this space! You heard it hear first!

(Disclaimer. This is not true!)

Roussette · 17/05/2021 07:41

@Purrsuation

Harry and Meghan asked if people wanted to donate to the Covid Vax initiative that helps poorer countries needing vaccines on Archie's 2nd birthday The sum of $3million has been raised for that fantastic program that is bringing vaccination equality in the world.

kirinm · 17/05/2021 07:44

@Frazzledfranny

Quite a bit of talk on Twitter about M joining Scientology. Tbh I wouldn’t be surprised as both adamant of hacking away at family ties. They are both very isolated now.
I've searched it and there really isn't much.

I've seen a meme that implies this!

Ahhh... that explains it, thank you! An advert for Scientology ran in Oprah so putting 2 and 2 together and making 26, they are about to become Scientologists!
Now that is the sort of reaching we get on here! (this is not directed at you)

I don't doubt the meme that implies that, it's all bonkers! I must be on the ball to pick up on that without seeing it! The thing is... I can predict answers to posts on here and predict what nonsense those that dislike will come out with!

@Roussette

Piers Morgan already bit you to the Bill Gates thing. 🤣🤣

Trolls really lose their s**t with MM.

Look at this one seeing an ad on Oprah and saying MM is turning Scientologist. Lol

And the ones who keep repeating themselves over and over again, never seen people lose their minds over someone as much as this. They have about 5 threads to trash MM, yet keep coming on here to repeat themselves.

Totally agree that H is to blame in a very large way for this. He didn't seem to prepare her for any of it or explain how things were to her. She thought she knew what she was getting into having been in the public eye before and he accepted that. He didn't seem to explain the difference between the cultures or the rules of the RF.

Plus he seemed to rush everything through. She had no time to adapt and just be his girlfriend and get to know how things would be, see what the press was like, form her own opinions on whether she could cope with that. See first hand the inner workings of the RF. KM had years and years to learn the role and being British had the advantage that she already knew what the press could be like. She had learnt to cope with being in the limelight and negative attention before the wedding. Whereas MM was just thrust into this foreign world. It's probably weird enough coming to live in the UK anyway as an American and getting to know the differences without doing it as a member of the RF and in a fishbowl.

I personally think this rush was because Harry didn't want to scare her away, she said she knew what she was getting into so he left it like that. He didn't seem to think of any of implications of introducing her into the family, thought her being American would be an advantage. It's reported his family told him to take it slow but he seemed to have his foot on the accelerator and they both got swept up in that.

Roussette · 17/05/2021 07:53

I must be inside the head of the haters! If that's so, I am quite prepared to deprogramme anyone who wants to break free of the hate! I understand you, I can predict the nonsense swirling round in your head. 😂

When they get desperate, they just plain out make it up.

They weren't in their 20s. It is quite normal not to have years of going out together at that stage in life. Very similar to me actually, got engaged after six months, and here we are 35 years later. KM was much younger, she had the luxury of being able to do that. I didn't, they didn't, so I get it.

Roussette · 17/05/2021 08:00

Is this thread for real?

Do you need help? Can you not see it properly?

Sylvan92 · 17/05/2021 08:01

I completely understand why they’d do everything quickly but it didn’t help M settle in or adjust to her new life.

Roussette · 17/05/2021 08:03

So what would be the answer to that? They didn't have years and years to go back and forth like K&M. I agree that it didn't give enough time maybe, but who knows, even with years it would be the same outcome. Especially as Harry has said he has felt he wanted to leave in his 20s.

You mean they should have dated longer, so H would see that he could not marry a woman of colour because filthy racists will go after her?

Well tough. He still married the woman he wanted.

Chief I am mostly using the word 'detractor', I promise. I remember last year being trolled over about three pages for saying the term 'antiMM' (still not sure what's wrong with that)

On the Bill Gates meme, maybe I'd seen it but didnt register? I can't remember so, but perhaps that's the case. Me and one of the DCs love Melinda.

Roussette · 17/05/2021 08:13

Thanks Chief I can't believe it's that long given how irritating he can be 🤣

I’ve already said I agree that time wasn’t on their side.
Roussette · 17/05/2021 08:17

And I'm not disagreeing? Hmm

Ocsetldil · 17/05/2021 08:30

Thanks to this thread I put “Meghan Scientology” into Twitter search and found lots of posts in nanoseconds.

Roussette · 17/05/2021 08:36

You obviously don't believe my twitter feed! I have put in exactly the same and there are two tweets. When I put it in an hour ago, there were none.
The first tweet says the RF is Scientology! So not about MM.

Oh, and there's a bottom feeder gossip site link which I refuse to click on, saying that Tom Cruise is looking to recruit her.

Apart from that nothing. You can disbelieve me if you want.
