Positive thread on Meghan again

Now that at the other knock off MN chat has been shut down, we seem to have an influx of those posters on here with new or encouraged accounts.

For those who are not interested in trawling through negative post after the other. You can come on here for positive news about Meghan and Harry.

Why not, everyone else seems to be viewed positively, without 'cynicism'. I don't mind taking this at snail pace, we just post on the good things about H&M, they sure seem to be doing a lot of that lately, and it's really buried under the negativity on MN.

Procter and Gamble - WTAF? Confused

Ocsetldil · 12/05/2021 10:09

Is that 100 posts per day each or collectively?

StormzyinaTCup · 12/05/2021 10:11

You would sound more genuine if you asked the same question about who is working for who with the negative posters. As you well know, they post about 100 posts per day disparaging MM. Yet you say nothing. It does look like you are one of them, so guess that is not a surprise.

I’m not an avid RF thread follower, I have a job of my own in RL so drop in as and when. What do you want me to say and to whom?

I had already read P&G pledge for 2030 but I will wait and see what happens especially seeing as they didn’t meet their 2020 target (one of only two major companies that didn’t if I’ve recalled correctly). Otherwise all they are doing is ‘green washing’.

And for the record I try and avoid, where I can, anything that has palm oil in it.

JingsMahBucket · 12/05/2021 10:13

I thought Stormzy was leaving? 🧐

Unfortunately, this place can be like a bit like a scab, you know you shouldn’t pick it but you can’t help yourself Smile.
Roussette · 12/05/2021 10:25

we don't have to explain ourselves

You are so correct and I must stop reacting!

The thing is.... it's said as a joke on totally different subject threads as a one off and is often done in good humour.

But on here... I honestly think the regulars just know we aren't Meghan or Doria or a paid employee of Meghan's PR firm!
So that means it is obviously posted solely to annoy or insult someone, or to detract from the point the poster is trying to make.

Unfortunately, this place can be like a bit like a scab, you know you shouldn’t pick it but you can’t help yourself

Now, that is something we can agree on!
😂

Well, now that the main 'royal source' Jason Knauf is leaving, I wonder where Dan Wootton will get his palace info.

@Gorgeouslilgirl

What in your view is the point of making a deal with a big company? 😊
I think the 2021 term for it is 'wokewashing' as developed from 'greenwashing'. Proctor and Gamble may well have done lots of this anyway: most big corporations now have their own foundations and various charitable and philanthropic activities to meet contemporary expectations around corporate responsibility. But those have now become routine, and won't be newsworthy, whereas attach Harry and Meghan's names to something and voila! Press coverage for your efforts. They also get to build up their profile as humanitarians, simply by appearing on the bill, as it were. A winner for all parties.

Whatever the case may be, P&G are approved by HMQE.

I am not surprised by Jason Knauf leaving, especially after he failed to come through for the mail on Sunday who were relying on his testimony to sink Meghan. Jason underestimated Meghan and thought she would drop the case long before he would be required to testify under oath. He had assured the mail on Sunday that he co-authored the letter which is why mail on Sunday carried on with the copyright case. He withdrew at the last minute even dragging the Queen into it. He was toast after this. Besides there Sussexes aren't around anymore for him to leak any more stories, he is not needed now. He was the "palace source"

Roussette · 12/05/2021 22:01

Yes, and wasn't the judge or the courts fed up with him messing about and not saying what he should have done way back in the beginning.

Poor Dan Wootton, his bestie friend is no longer a source.

Mummy194 · 13/05/2021 21:12

Harry had a nice Podcast with Dax Shepard (loved him in Employee of the Month).

You will want to listen to the whole thing. They cover so much, it's all laid back, funny and open.
Issues covered include :

  • His wild past
  • Anecdotal times with MM and Diana.
  • Times and role in the army and the responsibility that comes with that.
  • How he is still learning about racism, and recognising that he is not there yet.
  • Dealing with trauma
  • Parenting
-Acknowledges his privilege and what it has taught him -The media forced him to face things heads on.

No thanks. The exerpts on Twitter are enough. Once again he blabs about his family. One can't help wondering what about the rf's privacy, what about their mh??

Poor misunderstood H playing the perpetual victim. Again.

Viviennemary · 13/05/2021 21:41

From what I've read its another whinefest about the miseries of being royal.

I suggest those commenting on it so negatively maybe take the time to listen to it? As opposed to just reading what the DM wants to shit stir on it.... they are obviously just going to pick out and bang on about the bits that will serve as clickbait for their readers who will, of course, lap it up and self implode.

I have heard excerpts and read bits. He comes across well.

That's a good point actually why is he the only one entitled to privacy? Why doesn't he just talk about him and her and their family leave everyone else out of it

He could even talk about the chickens.

Probably less interesting than the royal family though. Fortunately there can’t be much left for him to tell the world about them.

MoChridhe · 14/05/2021 06:27

He talked about the chickens.

Good - wouldn’t want them left out 🐔
Samcro · 14/05/2021 08:58

why shouldn't he talk about his family. should he just stay silent to please the haters?
I am old enough to remember his fathers behaviour and things he said about his own parents.

Roussette · 14/05/2021 09:04

Exactly!

This view of brushing it all under the carpet means more suffering for more people.
Before someone jumps on saying he is doing it publicly, unless you have listened to the podcast, you really don't know what he is saying! He has huge sympathy for his Dad.
And he wants to break a cycle. Don't blame him!
