To be shocked at some RF members turning their back?

It has been reported that some Royal Family members literally turned their back on Prince Harry at Prince Philip's funeral and refused to even acknowledge him.
I have had extended family members behave badly and are in no hurry to be friendly. But I think this is appalling behaviour. I would never do that and especially not at a funeral.
It reminds me of that video being shared where William and Kate totally snub and ignore Harry and Meghan.
It is just so rude and awful.

Has it bypassed you that they ruined the last couple of weeks of Harry’s granddad’s life by dragging the institution his grandmother has worked her whole life for through the mud? He was lucky blanking is all he got from them.

If he were my brother and did what he did I don't think I'd speak to him again.

To the RF and everyone else with a brain cell, the OW interview is riddled with inaccuracies and outright lies. Things that can actually be proven to be lies. Not just "opinions" but factual inaccuracies. There is a photo of MM and Samantha that was taken of them together which disproves what MM said about not having seen Samantha for 20 years.

I've got my fingers crossed that when Charles ascends the throne not only will he strip titles of those who do fuck all and don't deserve them, he will ship Andrew off to America into the hands of the FBI. Or rather, whatever powers that have been put in motion to stop the FBI asking him questions will be removed. It would be a big win for Charles as King. And Andrew wouldn't have mummy and daddy to hide behind any more.

Especially when it’s Harry who is largely known for racist behaviour out of all of the Royal Family.

I think the Queen has made her feelings clear and the rest of them should follow her example.

Also, I thought that William's comments on the pink watering can today were a bit old fashioned and not helpful where it comes to gender diversity and inclusion.

Well by that logic Harry and Meghan are a racist family, since Harry dressed up as a nazi, and Meghan married him.

Of course the RF might blank him, it's not remotely harsh in the circumstances. The fact you're more offended by that, than the disgraceful interview he did to warrant it, is very odd.

She (Samantha) was also extremely rude and racist towards Meghan's mother. I'd pretend not to know the stupid cow as well

Andrew is trying very hard to be brought back into the Firm. But it's not working, Charles and William will not allow it. The Palace is not encouraging this as far as I can tell. It's just Entitled Andrew who can't accept it's over, for good. Besides which Andrew has FA to do with it, no one is condoning his actions.

This thread is also reminiscent of terrible offices I've worked in: second hand takes on the fallings out, the alleged snubbings, the sheer mundane drama of it all.

Fair point. To be fair though, it's really hard not to have an opinion about M&H. Their PR team don't make it easy. I yearn for the days when I would occasionally catch sight of a royal story while walking past a newspaper stand to buy petrol.

First, there is no evidence of your claim, at all.

Secondly, you can't win an argument by referring to how your family would behave. You have no idea what your family may do if someone was disloyal or made public comments criticising them.

What do you hope to achieve by this thread?

No I do not know for sure. But there have been so many reports of it with no attempt from the palace to squash it, that I believe it. And we know Harry and Meghan have been snubbed at the CC.

I am looking forward to the next Crown when the public are reminded just how badly the RF treated Diana.

You do know that The Crown is largely fiction, don't you?

I was victimised by a narcissistic covert bully at work. She was clever and popular and was regarded by many as something akin to a saint.

I had no idea to handle the situation, never having come across anything like it before. Sometimes I behaved angrily and unfriendly in front of others. This just played into her hands.

This happened to me. Your words mirror my words at the time. My tormentor was seen as a Saintly figure in our organisation. Things aren’t always as they seem. Hope you are doing better, it took me years to get over.

I grew up in a very royalist household and we as a family followed them all closely through the years (my mother insisted ). I always got the feeling that Charles thinks Andrew is a total prick. There's always good chemistry between the siblings but never them 2. I'm one of four as well and I think there's always a black sheep sibling when there's that many of you in my case my wanker brother

When combined with forgetting a whole host of other things, such as when you got married etc, it quite a worry to have such a poor memory. Especially when the recollections of a 95 year old woman vary so much that they are accurate...

It's rude and awful if it happened but we have no evidence of that, only some hearsay reports in the media (who love it!).

Hardly a close family member, is she? That's well in to distant relative territory and certainly if I was asked about whether my family was any characteristic I wouldn't be going that far out before answering the question.
