To be shocked at some RF members turning their back?

It has been reported that some Royal Family members literally turned their back on Prince Harry at Prince Philip's funeral and refused to even acknowledge him.
I have had extended family members behave badly and are in no hurry to be friendly. But I think this is appalling behaviour. I would never do that and especially not at a funeral.
It reminds me of that video being shared where William and Kate totally snub and ignore Harry and Meghan.
It is just so rude and awful.

i didnt see anybody turn their back on him during the extensive coverage of the funeral, but most people wouldnt be happy that they lied on a worldwide tv programme.

I think H&M got it very wrong in doing the OW interview and I think they know it.

Regardless of whether they were treated badly or not, the inaccuracies completely undermine their arguments. As my DP likes to say "they couldn't lie straight in bed".

It's a complete betrayal to go public with private matters. I had every sympathy for MM when her family did it to her and I also have sympathy for the RF now H&M have done the same to them.

It's not right that family should do this to each other.

Because it has been widely reported that the RF protect William future King by feeding the press stories they can publish instead of negative ones about William.

As I said earlier Faheka I only have your word for that but if that is the case the the were both wrong. I don't see how that is in any way relevant to the thread topic which as you know was about how awful it is that that some members of the RF may or may not have turned their back to Harry. To which a lot of people have stated they think it's a pretty reasonable reaction given the circumstances.

Harry isn’t in the RF anymore, why do you care about William so much? Harry’s gone and when they quit using the titles they had for 18 months of working in the RF it will die down a bit for them.

Still will get laughed at for the endless hypocrisy, however William isn’t accusing his family of racism- Harry is, that’s the difference - would be best to have less of a chequered past before trying Harry throws accusations around. Hypocrisy is the issue. Not trying to find evidence of William being as ‘bad’ as Harry, that’s missing the point, which is Harry’s hypocrisy.

Shakespeare would have written a blinder of a comedy on Harry, ‘the brother who would would be King’. In fact his ideas of grandeur do get boosted rather a lot by Meghan, so a touch of the old Macbeth going on too

He's a big old drama llama like his mother was. Thank God William is more dignified and less publicity hungry.

I'd be telling my children to ban a grandchild from my husbands funeral if they pulled the stunt that H&M did with the Oprah interview. It was an atrocious spectacle to take part in whilst their GF was on his last legs.

Which was understandable because Samantha had been publicly bad-mouthing her. Surely you can understand the Royal Family feeling the same way about Harry under similar circumstances?

So Harry wore a nazi costume and William wore a racist costume ... and Megan cheerfully married into their family anyway.

This. I can't condemn one person's actions and then condone the exact same behaviour in someone else. That would be hypocritical of me.

I don't actually. I am not against family members refusing to talk to each other. But physically turning your back on a close family member at a funeral and pretending they do not even exist is an aggressive act.
