Omid Scodie says Meghan was wrong about Archie becoming a prince at birth

He has publicly stated that Meghan was incorrect about her understanding of the protocol around Archie becoming a Prince.

Considering Omid seems to the M & H unofficial spokesperson, it is more than likely that Meghan now realises this is the case and his skin colour would not have been a deciding factor in it.

it does make you wonder why Harry did not explain it to her ? did he just not have a clue about about Royal protocol and succession, maybe he never needed to understand it. . Or was he so desperate to get her to marry him that he fed her a load of bull, i.e. our kids will be princesses and princes. Did he hope he could convince the queen to change protocol for his family?

Please don't get this thread deleted with comments which MN don't like, I am beginning to suspect there are posters who purposely troll M & H threads to ensure MN will delete them, so there is never a discussion allowed to stand..

Thomas Markle didn't go to the wedding because he wasn't invited. He did not receive an invitation. Its quite simple underneath all the spin and counter spin.

That's just a sheer lie.

Unless he is mentally ill he would hardly likely go to a tailors to be measured up for a wedding suit if he wasn't invited.

It is documented he is on record saying he didn't receive an invitation. Nor did he receive a personally delivered scroll announcing the engagement which apparently Doria received as well as an official wedding invitation.

I think the visit to the tailors was part of the stunt that back-fired.

However....his name was in the Wedding Programme (or whatever it's called at Royal Weddings), so he must have been invited.

I've never seen it written that he wasn't invited. If it's him saying so.. I wouldn't believe it to be honest.

If you look again you’ll see the Prince bit referred to the mention of H&M in the second part of the quote.

Sorry - I was saying Harry is a Prince, but can see my phrasing wasn't clear!

Which was why I think that Peter doing the milk ad was not quite so awful, as he is not a Prince!

He's the Queen's grandson. It was awful. And the Queen and the powers that be were not happy.

It wasn't just an advert, it was posed as if it was in Buckingham Palace. A footman serving him milk. The palace gates opening, the drive up to the palace.

Thomas Markle's claim that he didn't receive an invitation to the wedding can be read here. As it's completely impossible for anyone to prove a negative, it's not possible to verify.

Incidentally, proceeds from the sales of official royal merchandise/admissions income goes to the Royal Collection Trust. The financial reports are available online.
