I wonder if reconciliation is possible?

With Prince Philip now gone, the queen not as robust as she once was and grieving her loss, Prince Charles looked distraught today, Harry with a new baby on the way, memories of Diana's funeral today....I wonder if now isn't the perfect time for them to just all get together show their love for each other and clear the air (perhaps without Meghan's presence as she seems to inflame things).

I think it'll be telling how long Harry chooses to stay in the UK before he returns to the US (a clear indication of whether he's willing to hang around for a little while to mend fences or rush back home to Meghan and Oprah and Gail) I really wish the best for them all, family is everything but I'm not holding my breath.

The DM is reporting they are to be dropped completely under new plans and perhaps their titles removed. This might be for the best.

This whole conspiracy theory narrative that Meghan is personally responsible for every word and every rumour written about her, is both illogical and tedious.

She's about to give birth to the (future) king's granddaughter. She can barely sneeze without it generating worldwide headlines. She doesn't need to leak quickly debunked little stories to random foreign tabloids for attention.

This is one of the most damaging allegations as it’s so petty it is a bullet.

They really are not. There are very many toxic people out there but you are calling them toxic? Harry left royal duties to protect his family.

Really? In the grand scheme of things an allegation about being 'miffed' and not being asked to go shopping is most damaging? If it's true, it's nothing. And we have no need for these threads.

If we were to talk of damaging allegations, which we are, I'd bring up Andrew, who carried on being friends with a convicted sex offender and only gave up his friendship when rumbled.
Yes I know it's yawn Andrew... just trying to put being miffed at missing out on a shopping trip into context....

Can someone please explain why the royal family need to apologise when in their original statement ( which I am obviously regarding as truth ) there wasn’t a peep of any victim status
They wanted to carve out a new role - so why is an apology needed - seemingly a public one too

I don’t know the truth of all the reports obviously but it’s obvious from the interview that Meghan and Harry are very unhappy
I hope they are both having counselling for the sake of their children as it’s hard enough to parent your children without a whirlwind discord in your life

Why do “supporters” conveniently forget the SussexRoyal thing? That was very much not stepping back from high-profile royal duties, it was stepping back from ones no one notices or are reported on anyway.

if they do that, will they do the same to PA. his behaviour has been far worse.

I'd like to think so but hey, he's just bought a £220,000 Bentley to make himself feel better. He didn't like the colour so got it resprayed. His odious over indulgence never stops.

The DM statement doesn't make sense as they have already left the Working Royal Firm.

Unless they mean dropped completely from things like Trooping the Colour which all the Royals, Inc the young children working or not generally appear at.
The next big event will be the Jubilee next year so dropping the 'extras' from appearing on the balcony, although HMQ might have different ideas since it's her day and it might be bitter sweet without Philip.

Why do people believe things about Prince Andrew, but everything about M&H is a lie?

Clearly PA seems an entitled sleazeball, but things are rarely black or white, and if things that aren’t true are written about M&H, then why is it quite fair to do the same when it’s someone of whom you do not approve?

Andrew is his mother's favourite child. Maybe he's getting whatever he can now because there will be a very big change in his status when elder brother takes over.
