I wonder if reconciliation is possible?

With Prince Philip now gone, the queen not as robust as she once was and grieving her loss, Prince Charles looked distraught today, Harry with a new baby on the way, memories of Diana's funeral today....I wonder if now isn't the perfect time for them to just all get together show their love for each other and clear the air (perhaps without Meghan's presence as she seems to inflame things).

I think it'll be telling how long Harry chooses to stay in the UK before he returns to the US (a clear indication of whether he's willing to hang around for a little while to mend fences or rush back home to Meghan and Oprah and Gail) I really wish the best for them all, family is everything but I'm not holding my breath.

Thank you - it seems callous but I am ok. I was very very lucky to fall pregnant with my son within three months, and we had a little girl after that, neither of whom I would change for the world. And I don’t think I’d have either of them had my eldest lived, so I can’t look back with regret but with thanks that she was part of my life and led me to having my two. I suspect it wouldn’t have been quite as uncomplicated had she not been my first.

It’s why I think there are no wrong decisions or answers around baby loss and parents choices - no one can know what’s right.

We had a big gap between children, miscarriage in the middle, which felt even more cruel as otherwise we could have started the fertility investigation pathway 18m earlier. I personally don’t think I could share so much detail about a mc as Meghan did without being safely into another pregnancy. But everyone is different. I’m so glad it happened again quickly for them.

I'm so sorry for everyone struggling with miscarriage or fertility issues.
MN might have its issues, but it's one of the few places where women can come together en masse to talk about these things openly.

I see H and M are releasing an ‘updated’ version of FF due out in August with recent chapters on the OW interview and PP. There are no words really...

Clearly every happening or conversation will now be publicised for profit.

StormzyinaTCup · 25/04/2021 17:09

Is there no part of their families lives that they wont use for self promotion and monetary gain ?

Only one side of the family is able to fulfill this purpose, the other side is completely discarded.

Billandben444 · 25/04/2021 17:58

This would be down to Scoobie though and can't be blamed on H&M.

No of course not! He's made it all up. So a lawsuit will be in progress very soon, won't it?
StormzyinaTCup · 25/04/2021 18:05

She is utilising Scobie when it suits and she did provide information for his book.

If she is as serious as she has recently said about wanting Harry to reconcile with his family then she would do well to tell Scobie to draw a line under it now, all that needs to be said has been said, it doesn't need rehashing......but she won't of course.

Lockupyourbiscuits · 25/04/2021 18:15

I really cannot understand why they can’t just let it go now
Why bring up further grievances ?

Just go your own way and be happy
What on Earth is the purpose ?

People fall out all the time - they make a decision to leave - move on with happy lives - that’s healthy

Flummoxed!!

Viviennemary · 25/04/2021 18:24

If you keep poking the hornets nest no point in complaining when you get stung.

Scobie has denied it on Twitter.

mermaidsariel · 25/04/2021 22:38

Ah! Wonder if Charles has been on the blower and there’s been a change of plan...

Roussette · 25/04/2021 22:46

Or perhaps it was a made up story in the first place?
Has been known!

“A not-so-accurate report about Finding Freedom in the Sunday Times, who didn’t even bother asking for comment before falsely claiming a paperback edition will feature new chapters that will “reopen royal rifts”. Why let facts get in the way of a spicy story though, eh?”

Says Scobie.

StormzyinaTCup · 25/04/2021 23:12

Bit weird - its across several BM publications with an expected 'on sale' date of 5th August. I would have thought that was a bit specific for a made up story and The Times, where it originated, is not exactly a scandal sheet.

ohforarainyday · 25/04/2021 23:18

I see H and M are releasing an ‘updated’ version of FF due out in August with recent chapters on the OW interview and PP.

Why on earth would you choose to word a post about a rumour that a publisher (who is neither Harry or Meghan) is considering releasing an updated version of a book written by a writer (who is neither Harry or Meghan) as "Harry and Meghan are releasing..." ?

There's zero proof Harry and Meghan had anything to do with Finding Freedom, and even if they did, they certainly have no involvement in any potential updated version, since they are not publishers. Publishers make decisions, not (alleged) sources.

Do you post "I see William and Kate have released yet another story about Meghan..." every time there's a headline in the Daily Mail? That would be more accurate.

It's incredibly unlikely Harry and Meghan are even aware of plans for any updated book. It's some publisher wanting to make money off the Oprah situation, and that's if it's even true, which is unlikely.

God why are people so incredibly gullible?

bluebell34567 · 25/04/2021 23:21

weird or not. they get the attention they want dont they?
