Diana baby name for Harry & Megan's baby girl?

Anyone think they are going to call the baby Diana? I think they possibly could... The Americans would love it.... Palace not so much... Win win...

I agree. What is it with some people that are always in a rush to kick people when they’re down?

I was surprised that Archie wasn’t called Spencer.

Saying that a girl could always be Spencer.

Charlotte’s middle name is Diana so I would say it’s bound to be in there somewhere.

I think Rosa sounds lovely too. Can we just stick to name predictions and not passive aggressive comments please? I didn’t even watch the Meghan and Harry interview but I read plenty about it on Mumsnet. If Meghan really said she was feeling suicidal, is this really how you treat an emotionally fragile person?

It’s a baby, have some bloody class. You may not like her but to accuse her of abusing and controlling her husband and to penalise naming a child after a dead parent is low even for mumsnet.

I think the little girl will have a name representing her mixed Heritage , but Diana and her mothers name will be in there too

When she was pregnant with Archie (a first pregnancy where more can go wrong) is that even true? That you're more likely to MC a first pregnancy? Didn't work for Meghan did it, her MC was her 2nd pregnancy. Also first pregnancy is when women are more blasé, certain it'll be fine. As opposed to AFTER. a MC like MM

This time around it's held back to fit the contrived link to Diana. Or because she'd already had one loss and didn't want to announce too early in case she lost the baby again.

It's perfectly plausible that they held back on the announcement due to the loss of their second pregnancy.

I think it may feature but not as a first name , will be something more modern to go with archie and not traditional maybe
Beth or Bethany would be nice , although prob too traditional.
Or as other said they could use Diana's middle name and that will be different
I haven't defended them in all this but I would imagine holding onto baby news was due to mc and getting to hopefully a later stage, or maybe only until she started to show etc
We all have our own times we consider the announcement to be right for some that can be a couple of weeks for others they hold of for as long as possible

I think Francesca Dora would be a lovely name. It's a nod to Harry's mum, whose middle name was Frances, but a prettier and more modern version. And Dora after Megan's mum Doria, dropping the i to roll off the tongue better. I hope they read this and choose it!

Someone above said Daisy. It's cutesy like Archie so I think it'll be something in that sort of style.

Don't think they'll use it as a first name, probably a middle name. They'll probably use something like Jessica or Britney, or whatever American girls names are trendy now.

Someone I knew was due around the same time as K and W who called child Spencer (wanted this but wouldn't use it if used for Louis) and was worried they'd name their child this.

How on earth does anyone remember when a royal pregnancy was announced! I couldn't even tell you Harry's birthday, much less when they made the initial announcement

They look it up for more ammo on Meghan. No stone left unturned.
