I thought we could have a thread for latest news. MN did say they didn't mind one or two threads. And no rules except stick to MN guidelines. It's Meghans birthday today I just read. And the Queen has wished her a very happy birthday on the royal Instagram page according to that popular Oracle the DM.

One page is literally a list of the food they ate on Christmas Day..... talk about filler!!

I imagine he’s very spoilt; he seems it! I don’t envy Meghan.

But then I don’t envy Kate either - William doesn’t appear easy either

I'd love to know how Harry feels about all this. I wonder if he thinks moving away was a big mistake. But maybe they did the right thing to try even if it doesn't work out and they come back. Royals have a knack of ignoring everything so if he comes back I don't think there would be a problem. Even if we all think oh there's no turning back. There always is for them.

This book really is another own goal for them. They are nothing but consistent in their “me me me” approach. So dishonest of them to deny their obvious involvement in the book.
It’s extremely rude of H. to diss the house in which he has been staying for free and to his full convenience. It’s also interesting to see they can have privacy when they want to. They have managed to relocate twice with very minor coverage.

So the book Finding Freedom itself says that the authors did talk to Harry and Meghan which means either that is a lie or else the subsequent denials and distancing is a lie. Considering, and this is not my speculation, a judge has also stated he believes they reveal their private information to the media, I don’t see how they can be classed as anything other than liars now.

Be interesting to see how they and their sussexsquad fans try to get around this and whether some of those who defended them lose sympathy.

The DM reports that they‘ve actually moved out of Tyler Perry‘s mansion and have been living in a “family house“ in Santa Barbara for the past 6 weeks. If true this would be an odd discrepancy with the lawyer statement that Archie hasn‘t been out of the house since they moved to LA. Of course it‘s easy to argue that moving homes is not the same as being out on trip but the statement was filed in court and definitely less than 6 weeks back.

The claim was to prove that drone shots of Archie allegedly taken on a trip to Malibu was actually illegal footage from their backyard, and the story was impossible as he has never left the house for 8 months. Santa Barbara is about 2 hours drive north from LA (with Malibu en-route in the middle) so if they did move house then Archie has clearly been out.

As a casual statement this is obviously just splitting hairs, however they always seem to submit things in court that appear weird and contradictory in retrospect.

I agree W looks like he can be quite difficult and is definitely the dominant one in the relationship. After seeing the documentary about the wounded soldiers walking to the Antarctic, where H just mucked in with the rest of them, I thought H was genuinely down to earth. However, over the last couple of years, he's looked the spoiled, entitled person you'd expect from someone of his upbringing.
This book is a huge own goal and I think they've made a joke of themselves in the U.K. at least.

So rude of H to moan about the free house they w been living in all this time. Where was the photo of Archie taken then? The free house or the new house? Because it was taken less than six weeks ago surely?
I am not going to buy the book but the reports I’ve read on the content are just gobsmacking!

Funny though, as we were just saying yesterday about how would TP casually bring up in conversation that he wanted his house back!

DM now saying that PC stumped up to help them buy the new house in Santa Barbara.

I don't know many couples in their 30s still relying on the Bank of Mum and Dad although I dare say that's because I avoid scroungers in case they try and scrounge off me!

I also have zero respect for those incapable of or unwilling to make a living themselves .

I don't object to the bank of Mum and Dad in normal circumstances. But they have good few millions of their own that never seem to be touched. Though they're not slow at wanting others to part with their money or give them freebies.

Those were my thoughts too. Hence the comment about it ‘not being Harry’s style’. In other words, ‘we were going anyway’. Maybe.

Tbf the house owned by Tyler Perry was probably only ever a short term measure until they found somewhere themselves. Wonder what the longest time they've ever spent in one property is since they got married? Good thing MM is so good at packing, if that book is to be believed.

There were blinds this time last year or earlier about them having staff out there looking for properties for them to buy, well before any official chat about them leaving the UK, so I'm not shocked in the slightest.

Staggering they’ve taken more money from PC. The freedom they’re finding doesn’t seem to include financial freedom does it.

The thread hasn't been deleted because now "Finding Freedom" has been published, all the things we were previously just speculating about have been shown to be true.
