Daily Mail reports they have privately married at Windsor Castle.

Lovely news if true.

I hope they have a lifetime of love and happiness.

It's in the Sun too if suits your delicate constitutions better!

@Dita73 😂

Frazzled2207 · 17/07/2020 13:27

Good for her. I hope we get a pic later of her in a nice dress.

Notmyrealname855 · 17/07/2020 13:29

Nice for Beatrice! Would love to see photos :)

I have mixed feelings about the relationship all the royals have with PA, a friend was in a similar situation (without the international glare!) and disowned her dad. So I find that hard to reconcile, personally no I wouldn’t have anything to do with him. I don’t think the decision would be that hard with the evidence that we have. PA mixed with Epstein after E’s conviction for multiple child rapes so... Envy (not envy)

As for PA himself - I’m very hopeful the wedding was now as he’s going to be taken away for questioning and involved in convicting Maxwell.

@Dita73

Reception is in Pizza Express in Woking. Andrew hasn’t been for ages apparently
It's a warm day, luckily he won't get all sweaty.........

In fairness, it probably was deliberately kept quiet until it was over.
ChicCroissant · 17/07/2020 13:35

Lovely news, best wishes to the happy couple!

derxa · 17/07/2020 13:37

Lovely news

Mrsmadevans · 17/07/2020 13:42

How lovely Smile

jessstan2 · 17/07/2020 13:43

I'm delighted for them if it is true.

YouSayWhat · 17/07/2020 13:43

I will look forward to seeing the photos.

Alongcameacat · 17/07/2020 13:44

Nice news and a good way to marry given the controversy with PA.

I hope we see photos. It goes to show that we only know what the RF want us to know despite all our thoughts and musings about what their private lives and relations are like.

That's lovely news, and as LonnyVonny said; a classy move.

doadeer · 17/07/2020 13:50

Aw that's nice! She's really lovely! I went to uni with her. A lovely woman, very down to earth and genuine.

ButteryPuffin · 17/07/2020 13:54

According to Chris Ship on Twitter, photos will not be released until tomorrow as they don't want to distract from Captain Tom's knighthood this afternoon. Very thoughtful and something other branches of the family would do well to copy.

Parker231 · 17/07/2020 13:54

alliwant - exactly. Doesn’t look like a secret event but just a normal small wedding with close family.

theendoftheworldasweknowit · 17/07/2020 13:54

If it's true, I think it was a great idea. It meant her dad could have attended without causing a fuss (he's still her father) and it sets an example of how if you really want to get married during this pandemic, there's nothing wrong with a small wedding that meets the guidelines.

ButteryPuffin · 17/07/2020 13:56

The other useful aspect of doing it this way is that it avoids any speculation about whether the. Sussexes have been invited, will be coming etc. All obviously just not possible atm so no one is under pressure to do or not do anything, no chance for reports of 'family tensions' on the day and so on.

TheySeeHerRowling · 17/07/2020 13:57

I hope she had the wedding she dreamed of.

I bet she was brought up believing she'd have the full-on worldwide telecast Cinderella fairytale number. I wonder how hard it was to let go of that.

Best wishes to her and her husband.

ArriettyJones · 17/07/2020 13:57

Who is Chris Ship?

ArriettyJones · 17/07/2020 13:58

I bet she was brought up believing she'd have the full-on worldwide telecast Cinderella fairytale number. I wonder how hard it was to let go of that.

Maybe the whole prospect horrified her? She’s got no need to play at being “princess for a day” after all.
