Daily Mail reports they have privately married at Windsor Castle.

Lovely news if true.

I hope they have a lifetime of love and happiness.

Ah so a ball gown. It’s lovely.

GiantKitten · 18/07/2020 22:41

HM wore the dress in 1967 for state opening of parliament

Very pretty, and she looks so happy. It's not the Queen's wedding dress, it's a dress that was worn for the State Opening of Parliament in 1967 and was remodelled by the Queen's Dresser and Dressmaker. The tiara was however the same as the Queen wore on her wedding day.

Lovely to wear something vintage.

She looks beautiful and happy in that gorgeous dress and tiara. Stunning flowers too.

GiantKitten · 18/07/2020 22:43

It was HM’s wedding tiara though

Best of Luck to them sure she was delighted to have a private wedding not often they get to have family events away from public eye.
Lovely having her grans dress looks fab

Mimimayhem18 · 18/07/2020 22:46

I think she looks wonderful and it's really refreshing that she chose to wear a dress from the queen. It makes me wonder why nobody has done it before, the private collection of dresses that the royal household own must be one of the best it the world and I really think that the saying 'they don't make them like they used to' is so true.

GiantKitten · 18/07/2020 22:49

HM was 41 in 1967, & had had all 4 children by then. She was in pretty good shape!

mum2jakie · 18/07/2020 22:51

Beautiful pictures. The queen looks so happy and proud too! What a lovely gesture, wearing her Grandma's wedding tiara. Best of luck to them both.

OVienna · 18/07/2020 22:51

I agree Mimi - interesting no one has done it before. Spark of inspiration to do so, though.

I guess if you're a daughter/granddaughter in law it could be a weird request tho. Is Princess Anne much taller? Maybe the Wessex girls will also follow this trend.

PrincessForADay · 18/07/2020 22:54

Hats off to her I'm glad she and her low husband got their day. The pictures are stunning! The couple look overjoyed & Beatrice suits the dress & tiara perfectly. I love HMQ even more for helping to make her day special. The flowers are stunning and agree it all looks classy & vintage.

Lovely to see both HMW & PP looking well. Also feel it was very mindful to release the pictures today, a classy move.

KatherineParr4 · 18/07/2020 22:55

The more I look at the pictures, the more I love the whole thing. The flowers, the church, the dress, the sheer joy on her face, the Queen and Philip, and the beaming smile on the Groom's face. Perfection and so much better than a showy, expensive wedding full of celebrities.

OVienna · 18/07/2020 22:59

Mimi I wonder that too. But maybe it's a bit of a weird request if you're marrying into the family. Wonder if the Wessex girls may do so, in the future.

OVienna · 18/07/2020 22:59

Oh it seems my earlier post did make it!

GinWithASplashOfTonic · 18/07/2020 23:01

I love a low key wedding like this.

It shows to the public that ££££ doesn't need to be spent. Especially as we are on the verge of a recession, and the tightening of wallets is required.

Her drees is gorgeous. And I love how it's one which the queen has worn previously

Do you mean Lady Louise? I suppose she’d be the next Royal bride if she marries...

ChicCroissant · 18/07/2020 23:07

She looks lovely, and the flowers round the door of the church are gorgeous too.

Angela Kelly and Stewart Parvin adapted the dress according to the Mail.

Rainbowqueeen · 18/07/2020 23:07

She looks stunning. I feel the choice of dress does give a glimpse into their personalities. I think Fergus is very much into the history of the RF and perhaps she has passed this on to Bea
Queen looks wonderful as always. I hope they had an amazing day

All of the above!
MissEliza · 18/07/2020 23:18

I think low key weddings will be the fashion in the next few years. However, if rules are relaxed in the next few years, I expect to see Beatrice having a big reception, particularly as she apparently has a huge social circle.
I keep saying this- how on earth did those parents produce those girls?!

SunbathingDragon · 18/07/2020 23:18

Both Bea and Edo look so happy and content in their pictures. I really love the flower arch, as well as the dress and tiara. It looks like a wonderful occasion was had.

Alongcameacat · 18/07/2020 23:18

She looks beautiful and I absolutely love the flowers.

I’d like to see the dress in more detail.

It may not have been the wedding she wanted, and I’m sure they will throw a hugely extravagant ball to celebrate at some stage but what they did have was beautiful. I suppose big royal weddings bring a lot of good PR to the RF. I’m sure Fergie will put up some photos at some stage. She is always very proud of her daughters.
