Daily Mail reports they have privately married at Windsor Castle.

Lovely news if true.

I hope they have a lifetime of love and happiness.

Great - so can all future royal weddings be done on the QT and avoid costing taxpayers a fortune?

I’d vote for that.

She looks like a Disney Princess! Sorta like Ariel!

Samcro · 18/07/2020 22:18

What lovely pictures

Alsohuman · 18/07/2020 22:19

She look radiant with happiness. And the look of love on the faces of her grandparents is a joy to behold. Well played, Bea.

KatherineParr4 · 18/07/2020 22:19

What beautiful pictures. The dress was a vintage Norman Hartnell dress on loan from the Queen. She looks gorgeous and very happy.

ZaraCarmichaelshighheels · 18/07/2020 22:20

Beatrice looks beautiful and wearing the tiara the Queen wore on her wedding day plus a vintage dress of the Queen’s, she is obviously much loved by HM.

So was it HMQ’s own wedding dress?
cakeisalwaystheanswer · 18/07/2020 22:22

I think the pictures are lovely and it was very good manners to delay their publication for Capt Tom.

People with nothing nice to say need to say nothing, there is no need to be mean on someone's wedding day. But tomorrow we can get back to planning the republican revolution.

Disfordarkchocolate · 18/07/2020 22:26

She looks stunning. What a dress, joyful.

‘A quiet & subdued event’

Flowers don’t make a noise and if they can’t have the reception they might as well have more flowers Grin

I think she looks beautiful and super happy , I love the remodelling on the sleeves of the dress she looks better in it than the Queen did ! It’s also lovely that she has her hair down and what a beautiful tiara, interesting that it was also worn by Princess Anne on her wedding day ( which one did Zara wear ?)

wagtailred · 18/07/2020 22:30

The queen smiled! Its a lovely wedding photo.

CrystalPuff · 18/07/2020 22:31

Adore the pictures and the fact she wore the Queen's tiara and dress! This was probably the best possible outcome for everyone...a happy, intimate day that wasn't overshadowed by the media reporting on other wedding guests.

PMTRex · 18/07/2020 22:32

If the Daily Mail is to be believed 🤔 it sounds like a lovely relaxed wedding and reception - cocktails, an indian-style tent, bouncy castle and glamping pods for overnight guests.

I hope she had a wonderful day. I too have a sh*t for a father so even thought I have no interest in the Royal Family I do have a bit of a soft spot for the York girls!

ComDummings · 18/07/2020 22:33

She looked absolutely perfect, just radiant and the loaned dress from the Queen was spot on. Sounds weird as I’m no royal family fan but I have always got a good vibe from Beatrice, she seems really nice and I’m happy for her.

PenelopePitstop49 · 18/07/2020 22:33

I can imagine that HM and PP have a great relationship with Bea and Eugenie. They seem such lovely warm young women..... and ones that actively make an effort to see Nan and Grandad.

Love her dress, it's so stylish and elegant. I loved Catherine's dress but this one is in a class of its own.

FannyCann · 18/07/2020 22:35

Lovely pictures. Such glorious flowers, I'd have wanted to stand there for hours to make the most of them!
I think she was very honoured by The Queen, to wear one of her dresses, and the tiara The Queen wore for her own wedding.
A beautiful touch. She looks very happy.

TinyTickler · 18/07/2020 22:35

I love everything about it. Married in secret in front of their nearest and dearest, in a vintage gown and tiara belonging to her Gran.

2 people who love one another and just want to be married, rather than another ott public spectacle. Pure class.

OVienna · 18/07/2020 22:37

The vintage dress! This girl! ❤ Hope she is very happy indeed. Good for them.

YonBonnieBanks · 18/07/2020 22:37

lovely flowers.

Can't see the dress very well unfortunately. Hope they release more photos.

Hope to see photos of what Eugenie and Fergie were wearing.

Would be good to see Beatrice with her dad, simply because he's her dad and she loves him. Its a real shame

FannyCann · 18/07/2020 22:38

Also, my own mother wore Norman Hartnell. She then cut off the sleeves and wore it to a ball. Red wine was spilt. She washed it and put it through the mangle. No grand daughter will wear vintage Hartnell. 😢

Goldengroveunleaving · 18/07/2020 22:38

Gorgeous dress and flowers. Love the two photographs.

I know I'm in the minority here in that I really love a great big royal wedding and wish the circumstances had permitted it this time. But they made a completely appropriate decision given everything. Amazing that Beatrice and Eugenie seem such a pair of thoroughly good eggs. Fergie and dodgy PA must have done something right.

HerRoyalNotness · 18/07/2020 22:38

Love the choice of dress and tiara. She looks stunning!

NameChange84 · 18/07/2020 22:39

It’s not the Queen’s wedding dress it is one from her collection.

I love that she put her own stamp on it and went for something totally different from current trends and expectations. She looks really happy and utterly charming. In documentaries she always seems like a genuinely lovely woman and her close relationship with her Grandmother and her respect for tradition reminds me of my own special relationship with my late Grandmother. I hope she’s really happy. Whatever her father did isn’t her fault. She may have been materially well off but she’s had to deal with a lot of nastiness in the press, an unsettled childhood with her parents divorcing when she was little and being dragged through the mud and her wedding being messed about due to the scandal with Andrew and the Coronavirus. She as much as anyone is entitled to be a happy bride and newlywed.
