I am certain that I read somewhere that the Tatler editor went to uni/school with Kate, had a good relationship with her and was the favoured go-to editor for Carole?

Are you sure you've read the thread, @gingganggooleywotsit? Or maybe you are struggling to understand it? Most problem seem to be saying they don't hold MM responsible. If you are on the wind up you need to try a bit harder.

Favoured editor and went to St Andrews at the same time and has been on holidays with Kate. Probably not a friend anymore after that hit piece!

What if they are suing this time to out the sources?

Belarus that had occurred to me too because I am still struggling to see what the potential advantages are to K or W&K of taking legal action. Could knowing sources be what they want?

The snipy stuff rehashed in that article goes back years though so I wondered if maybe they feel there’s someone been briefing against them very long term and want to know who it is. Can legal cases reveal that though, I thought journalists sources were always private?

But even then, it still feels like legal action stands more chance of hindering than helping W&K because of the circus it creates of assertions, counter-claims and creating a topical platform for anyone to have a go at W&K who wants to.
