Meghan seems to really love L.A. it's where she was raised, where her mum is and also the center of the world that she wants to be part of. They wasted no time in getting back there in under two years, but now she's much better positioned to gain what seems to be her ultimate goal; of being accepted by and earning enough to be placed within, the A listers. Also, Silicon Valley the hi-tech capital of the world is centered around the Bay Area of San Francisco. M & H met with professors at Stanford which is in Palo Alto, again in, Silicon Valley and with her friendship with Serena Williams who calls herself "a nerd" and is married to Alexis Ohanian the founder of Reddit, I could see Meghan carefully trying to craft a role where she would be accepted into both high-powered communities of Hollywood and Hi-Tech. Whether she pulls it off remains to be seen.
Harry is her ticket to doors being opened, at least out of curiosity. She certainly seems lasered focused on her goal. But they have quite the financial hill to climb to be able to generate the enormous sums that will enable them to live the lifestyle she seems to be shooting for. I can only see her doing it with creating products of some kind, as well as being an Executive Producer of Netflix specials etc. In the article I linked she seems to be looking at the Obamas as role-models. I don't think anyone at the moment could put M & H in the stratospheric category of Oprah and the Obamas but she has met both now, so she certainly networked at the highest levels. And that is maybe what she can leverage, her ability to now be able to pick up a phone and call anyone (or have H do it) and her call being answered. Where she can go with that remains to be seen.
