Dandy (I've lost the 'happy' thread, I had the tab open but I must've closed it earlier.) I thought the end was lovely when he started chatting to H, it would've been a much lovelier video if there was more of that and less of his mum. It's his blooming birthday after all! Also, for many royalists the interest in Archie is through Harry, not Meghan, so I think it would've been more appropriate for them to have switched places.

The story time was charming and Meghan looks very natural in it, not too actor-ish.

It’s the first time I can remember them looking/sounding relaxed. Usually Meghan is groomed and styled to unnatural perfection while Harry looks like he wants to murder everyone around him. This was a nice change.

Maybe Meghan is going to start an Archie's book club in the same vein as Oprah's book club and publicized on her Tig aka Goop 2.0 website.

Yes, my thoughts too. Archie is gorgeous though, but he has two parents. Harry as usual is on the sidelines.

I suspect there are more parents who use different voices and intonations when reading a story to their child than there are those who don't.

It does register as forced and fake to me; the contrast between her normal glamorous self and this video is just too much. It’s all a bit “we’re very relaxed and happy here, I don’t even bother dressing the baby, I’m so happy I don’t have to dress up and wear makeup anymore, this is the real me, it’s all very chill” when we know that’s not how she likes to run her life.

Yes those were my thoughts too. Or ‘look, my children aren’t dressed as though they’re in an Enid Blyton novel like Kate’s, we’re the MODERN RF don’t ya know’.

He starts fussing because she's pulling the book away from him to show "us" and imo, she doesn't come across as natural at all. All show with her as always . He however, is a beautiful baby!
