Loved the photo of PC and Louis precisely because it does look like any other grandad and his grandson.

That photo shows that Charles isn’t a distant figure. It radiates love, not something you can make up.

Never mind the pandemic. It would be the biggest possibly two fingers up to Britain, as it would be saying that their marriage to date needed patching. But of a kicker for all the crowds of wellwishers.

(And of course, why renew vows unless broken?)

I think that rumour must be totally wrong. I've been taken aback at how badly some of their actions have seemed to UK audiences (I suspect they were angled at the US) but this Would be a a whole unimaginable league worse. So surely cannot be true,

Are we going to have to do this “they’re no better than us” thing every time someone admires a photo of a royal? “That’s a nice photo of the Queen - of course, no nicer than any other photo of a 93 year old great-grandmother.” I’d have thought that could get a bit cumbersome.

I thought it was top trolling by the Cambridges when they showed the perfect photo of Louis beside the smeared face one, captioned
Insta v Reality.

IMO the messaging was that the Sussexes only provide set up & insta fake shots, and live a fake life, while K&W are happy to do their duty & keep it real.

Or could it possibly be the Cambridge's acknowledging that real life sometimes bears little resemblance to Instagram life. Fuck all to do with Harry and his wife.

I'm a republican so dont have a dog in the sussex/cambridge fight, but the sucking up to the Cambridges since meghan arrived on the scene is nauseating.

Even people who lead extraordinarily privileged lives have every day pain, disappointments, desires which contradict how they live. There is a huge difference between material needs and those of the soul.

I wouldn't say there is "no real work". Attending numerous functions, always having to be pleasant to everyone, making inane small talk - that would get old pretty quickly. Personally, I can't imagine a life where I was "born" into a particular job, with no choice of my own, and where every step was subject to criticism. For the latter reason, I don't blame H&M for stepping out of public life, although when they did so, they should have done it 100% and not expected any public funding.

Don't be so obtuse. It's quite clear that you have an irrational dislike of the Cambridge family. And you're really scraping now. As you've been told several times go and start a thread about how much you hate William and Kate.
Instagram photos are staged and not natural, the photos of Louis were natural.

Before meghan came on the scene (and I'm not keen on her either before anyone starts), the Cambridges had a bad rep. Kate was known as 'Duchess Dolittle' (unkind, but you see the sentiment behind it) and William was criticised for being lazy too, quitting his air ambulance job after 2 years to do not very much.

Since meghan arrived, the Cambridges look better but only by comparison, not because they have really done anything of merit. All we seem to get out of them are tweets and the odd photo of their kids.

I made that comment about the Louis photos as, sweet as they are, they are yet another useless decoy to make us feel like they have 'done' something. They'll just put their feet up for another week or two now, maybe put out a 2 minute video if we're lucky.

I am saying you don't know. You don't live with them, or among them, or in any of their bodies. It's easy to judge, sitting on the sidelines.
