Is there something seriously wrong with him?

Camilla is the great granddaughter of Alice Keppel if I remember rightly.

Lordfrontpaw · 23/04/2020 13:52

I suspect 'slebs get a little spinner thing (like with twister) to tell them what their next 'amazing reveal' move is.

I think some of the ex pop-starlets, reality tv 'stars' and ageing 'glamour models' use the same one (not naming names)

7Worfs · 23/04/2020 13:55

GrinGrin

Lordfrontpaw · 23/04/2020 13:56

Did I remember to add 'infidelity' and 'launch perfume/baby clothes range/underwear'?

Viviennemary · 23/04/2020 14:07

What about the Hello magazine spread showcasing the happy family in their new state of the art luxury mansion. Just before it all goes pear shaped. So predictable.

ArchePenguin · 23/04/2020 15:01

Or entering Song for Europe dressed in a pink rubber body stocking when you’re 7 months pregnant.

Mummyoflittledragon · 23/04/2020 15:13

All excellent ideas. Who needs PR teams when you have mumsnetters?. Grin

Lordfrontpaw · 23/04/2020 15:14

To be honest it couldn't be worse than whoever is calling the shots just now.

SadOrWickedFairy · 23/04/2020 18:12

I suspect there may be some wailing and gnashing of teeth in a far distant place over the photograph of Charles and Louis, wonder what the reaction will be? A photo show down perhaps, or details of Archie Face Timing Louis to wish him Happy Birthday?

Justmuddlingalong · 23/04/2020 18:29

Maybe a photo like this...with a pay wall to sharpen the image?

Why is Harry talking?
LetTheCabbagesDie · 23/04/2020 18:30

I don't think they are talking to PW&KM are they? Either way, I would imagine their FaceTiming privileges have been taken away!

SadOrWickedFairy · 23/04/2020 18:39

Just I don't think that photo would cut it, I am imagining something far more worthy, Grin.

You are probably right Let, I just half expected the LA branch to do a heartfelt, gushy message to Louis via Social Media though (even if they did spin it as from Archie).

catinb0oots · 23/04/2020 19:00

It must be killing them not having an active insta account

Viviennemary · 23/04/2020 19:11

The court case against the Sunday Mail is due to start tomorrow. I wonder if we'll get any news about it.

LetTheCabbagesDie · 23/04/2020 19:23

It must be killing them not having an active insta account

Is their instagram account actually suspended?

SeriouslyRetro · 23/04/2020 19:37

M&H do seem to have backed themselves into a corner with that statement in regards to the tabloids earlier this week and the court case. If she approached them and tries to settle before it gets to court, then they’ll make that the headline. If she drops the case, then the headline will be ‘Why?!’ When she’s got the solid case and to do it so late in the day. If it goes to court they must have some things she doesn’t want revealed.

BubblesBuddy · 23/04/2020 19:48

The way our court system works is that each side swaps evidence before the case starts. The newspapers normally wouldn’t know the content of that. If she wishes to go ahead, the newspaper barristers will question her evidence and that of people appearing for her and for the newspaper as well. Then her barristers will do the same. Unless there are reporting restrictions, any newspaper can report from court. Or report if it’s on line. The Duchess won’t talk to the papers but it won’t matter. One suspects they will have enough juicy stuff from the evidence and questioning. If she fears what might be revealed in court, she can ask to settle out of court. But the newspaper might not want this and will consider the loss is worth the money! We will have to see what happens.

ChicCroissant · 23/04/2020 19:52

That is a lovely photo of Charles and Louis.

Dandyish · 23/04/2020 19:57

I’ve posted about the court case on another thread to say that tomorrow is a preliminary hearing - a strikeout hearing in fact. Associated Newspapers, the defendant and owner of The Mail on Sunday, is seeking an order from the court to strike out (delete) parts of Meghan’s claim. Presumably because they think those parts are not legally applicable or relevant.

So I’m not surprised that the MoS hasn’t settled yet. If they were going to, they would do so once they got the judgment for tomorrow’s hearing. If they get the order they want, I imagine they’d be unlikely to settle. If they don’t get the order they want, then I imagine they’ll be more likely to settle.

If Meghan withdraws, she’s very likely have to lay all of the MoS’s legal fees so far as well as her own. And obviously she can’t settle without the MoS’s agreement.

Wolfgirrl · 23/04/2020 21:03

@ChicCroissant no more lovely than any other photo of a granddad and his grandson.

ArchePenguin · 23/04/2020 21:09

The Cambridges have absolutely smashed it again this week. “I prefer not to watch things about Royalty” Grin

bluebell34567 · 23/04/2020 21:10

renewing marriage wows? at this pandemic time?

CallmeAngelina · 23/04/2020 21:13

no more lovely than any other photo of a granddad and his grandson.
So? What's the point of saying that?

ChicCroissant, I agree, it is a fabulous shot.

Winterlife · 23/04/2020 21:28

LOL @Wolfgirrl. But there isn't a link to another lovely photo of a granddad and grandson, is there? Were there another photo, I'm certain others would comment on it.

TofutiKline · 23/04/2020 21:36

I thought the text messages printed were odd, as if they were written with publication in mind. They said unnecessary things like "we have phoned you and texted you but you haven't replied or picked up." Meghan's Dad would have known that he hadn't picked up or answered the texts. So why say it? Perhaps because you need the texts as proof

Similar was the bit about " we are sending the security people back who you turned away yesterday."

EXACTLY what I thought @BalloonSlayer!

They don’t read “narural” at all.
