There are a lot of famous actors who donate / raise money (millions) for charity. They also get on with their daily life without too much press intrusion. It’s only the z listers who bleat an about doing very little eg delivering food to a few people and making sure they call the paparazzi to get anything and everything they do in the press.

I think doing kind things and then boasting about it on social media is unspeakably naff and self serving, and marks you out as not a very kind person at all. ( This refers to celebs in general, not anyone specific).

It all reminds me of the sort of very young adult who has parents who have only told them how amazing they are at everything

But that's just the point - surrounded by sycophants, this is exactly what happens to members of the RF
Drop them into the real world, especially when combined with a less than insightful partner, and that's when it can go awfully wrong

What Harry needs is parents he loves and trusts to sit him down and kindly talk him through his confusion and anger. I don’t think Charles has ever been a guiding figure in his life. His mother is dead. He is on very poor terms with his brother
who he now seems to see as a threat. He has had father figures who have been there to help and advise in the past who were on his staff. They have now left. He’s only got Meghan now. She’s not a good influence on him at all. Who is helping and advising her? Not her father. Her friends are mostly celebrities. Her mother is maybe not able to relate to her situation. They’re in the wilderness really.

The Kevin and Perry analogy nails it. Except that Perry was always polite to Mr & Mrs Patterson and you knew that one day they'd both grow up.

I think Bluntness was correct a few pages ago when she said Meghan was Harry's enabler. I know a couple where the bloke left his wife & DC for a younger OW who told him what he wanted to hear. All their problems were apparently caused by other people; their families, their neighbours, people at work and they continually moved on and on in their paranoid bubble, each time further from reality.

PP are correct to say Harry was largely protected from himself. Meghan has enabled him to be who he thought he wanted to be.

What Harry desperately needs is a few years away from the whole circus. The RF duties, the celebrity lifestyle, all of it.

He's made some piss poor choices and is now going to have to pimp himself out to whatever 'work' he can get to pay the insane bills the pair of them have condemned themselves too because of their choices.

If he'd stepped back for his health and not burnt every bridge on the way he could have had the quiet life they claimed they wanted, the public would have understood he needed time for his mental health and he wouldn't be having to find millions for security, housing and 23 private jets a month.

The reality is that they want the worthy roles of the roil family, but want to live as A list celebrities-look at the baby shower FFS, all while telling us how we should live.

They really need to shit the hell up right now, the rest of us are just trying to help our communities survive this mess. We don't need their shitty preaching.
