Is there something seriously wrong with him?

lunar

I think Harry does want that. Meghan however needs the oxygen of constant attention. That’s the problem.

Charles Moore editors words. Can't link but copied as I can't do link
'As a writer on one of the few newspapers not cast into darkness by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex,I suppose I should feel privileged. Actually, I feel a little disappointed. My message to their semi -royal Highnesses is : "Please extend to me the 'zero engagement ' you have offered my tabloid brothers. At present, the big story is a global virus, killing tens of thousands of people and decimating economies
In these circumstances, I would quite like to be released from any opportunity to cover the activities of your new non-profit empire, Archewell, and whatever else you may find to do in Los Angeles '

Wheresthebeach · 21/04/2020 20:48

Haggisfish · 21/04/2020 20:51

Crikey! That’s them told!

TheTiaraManager · 21/04/2020 20:54

@Snugglepiggy thank you GinCakeWine

Wow that direct, but I agree. Itbwoukd be interesting if others followed suit

Snugglepiggy · 21/04/2020 21:30

He's not holding back is he ?And the Telegraph has always been their trusted paper. It all just seems pretty sad considering the positive start.

ArriettyJones · 21/04/2020 21:40

I love Charles Moore for that.

PatchworkElmer · 21/04/2020 21:47

@Snugglepiggy thank you. Flipping heck!

HarryDaylight · 21/04/2020 21:48

Anyone in the UK press mentioned the stories on twitter regarding the tea flinging incident that occurred in Oz last year?

Bluntness100 · 21/04/2020 21:52

I don’t think Charles has ever been a guiding figure in his life

I know someone genuinely who has spent very occasional time with them as a family when the boys were teens and they say they were incredibly close. Charles was a lot more hands on than was revealed to the media, Charles was a guiding hand.

However kids turn out the way they turn out. I’m never sure parents can always take full credit or full blame. You can see two kids grow up identically in the same family and one becomes a criminal druggie, and the other a squeaky clean model citizen.

It’s not always nurture over nature, sometimes nature simply plays its part.

As a nearly forty year old man, Harry is who he is. And I don’t doubt his upbringing did help mould him, but there is absolutely no doubt he is who he is, because that’s who he would have been, irrelevant of what family he grew up in.

On saying that though, I do stand by that likely there is significant mental health issues going on, because even your average person on the street knows the reactions his behaviour would have.

It really is like he’s fighting his own war. With Meghan holding his hand and agreeing with him, telling him he’s right, that he is doing the right thing, helping him do it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a pregnancy announcement, they said they wanted two and time isn’t on their side.

7Worfs · 21/04/2020 21:55

HarryDaylight do tell, never heard of such an incident Shock

RosesandIris · 21/04/2020 21:56

I think they were very close when the boys were teenagers. So perhaps I should temper what I said. However I don’t think he’s close to them now. Perhaps that ended when they became adults. I don’t know of course, but that’s the way it looks. He has married again, and he’s very busy with his own projects.

MissEliza · 21/04/2020 22:10

I love this headline from the Mail. I know we're supposed to hate them but they've nailed it on this occasion.

Why is Harry talking?
PatchworkElmer · 21/04/2020 22:11

@HarryDaylight no, haven’t heard about that..

nuttymomma · 21/04/2020 22:15

When is the high court thingie? Will we know what happens? How long will the court case take? When will we find out the outcome?

I really want them to lose.

bluebell34567 · 21/04/2020 22:18

bluntness, With Meghan holding his hand and agreeing with him, telling him he’s right, that he is doing the right thing, helping him do it.
thats what was happenning when they announced their engagement. H spoke and she said 'well said' and holding his hand i guess. at the time i thought thats weird, does he need confirmation like that.
and then i thought maybe thats American way, being very expressive.

nuttymomma · 21/04/2020 22:18

oh and she's definitely pregnant. otherwise it would be a simple phone call or card for her birthday or nothing at all. The facetime thing was to tell her without any risk of being intercepted or overheard or whatnot.

StartupRepair · 21/04/2020 22:19

There were allegation s that Meghan threw a cup of tea at an aide during the Australian visit.

bluebell34567 · 21/04/2020 22:20

at the beginning i tried to be objective as much as i can but unfortunately it changed in time.

RosesandIris · 21/04/2020 22:20

I would love to know what the row with Kate was about before the wedding.

bluebell34567 · 21/04/2020 22:21

H wouldnt listen PC. he wouldnt listen to anyone now.

RosesandIris · 21/04/2020 22:27

No that’s true.

bluebell34567 · 21/04/2020 22:28

why did she throw cup of tea to the aide? i remember the pics she was talking to a waiter with H next to her.
the row with Kate happened at dress rehearsal of Charlotte before H&M's wedding. dont know the details.

SirVixofVixHall · 21/04/2020 22:31

It is sad that there is such a huge rift between Harry and William.
