Why do HARRY and MEGHAN write their INSTAGRAM posts with this WEIRD mix of words in block CAPITALS and others in standard script? It's very ODD.

This suggests to me that in the past, they have responded to tabloid stories not yet printed (or more likely, MM has, either directly or through her publicists).

A much better policy would have been to just state “No comment.”

I also think that speaking on tv on the Queen's birthday; in the first year that the Queen has felt the world situation so poor that it would be inappropriate to have any celebratory events, is piggybacking of the highest order.

There was 99% chance the royal family would be mentioned anyway, but now it's 100% that the papers who might have ignored her stunt appearance will report on "Meghan's birthday message to the Queen".

Utterly gobsmacked. What a pair of immature, deluded, spoilt, arrogant, short-sighted, ivory-tower dwelling, selfish idiots. Their self-belief is showing them up, particularly H, to be all those things.

The whole reason you don’t hear much from younger members of the RF is because they’re all those things through breeding and it’s damaging to the existence of the RF for this to be known. By the time they get to their 50s, 60s, 70s, they can be better trusted to have at least some perspective and life experience (unless they’re Andy going on air).

Harry going rogue is a liability. He’s got a year’s grace, during which time the RF will hang him out to dry to preserve the institution. I’ve said it before: he has no idea how cold it is out in the real world.

This isn’t going to end well.

It wasn't because it was a negative story.

The issue was that a private practice giving cosmetic procedures including Botox had heavily implied that the DoC was a client of theirs. The RF always shut down any false claims of commercial endorsement. They are fiercely protective of the royal brand, hence H&M not being allowed to use it for their own commercial purposes.

I don't mean this in an anti-American way but they seem to have so completely immersed themselves in the American celebrity culture that they have lost all understanding of the British public.

The letter will play very well with the People magazine crowd, who seem to really think that they've been hard-done by the British press, but it looks very much like ArchiePenguin's summary from this side of the pond.

And for their very expensive educations, they are terrible writers.

It’s pretty obvious that Meghan was transitioning from actress to activist when they met. She was always going to be vocal, whether married to a royal or to someone else. It’ll probably get worse. I think this is just the beginning.
