I think she looks very nice. I think the picture of them with the rain lit up behind them is stunning. Maybe that'll be the last time now they've left royal life.

I still don't think it's ok to write yourself a blank cheque and send the bill to the tax payer for a public service unless everyone can do that.

Sorry - just like the simpering in the engagement interview, Meghan looks so false. Stunning, but false. And as for bringing her make-up artist over from New York - she cannot have any emotional intelligence if she thinks that is in any way appropriate.

I shall be glad when they're back in Canada, living their best life.

I agree. I watched some moving footage and the whole time she gives off ‘smile ,smile and make the right noises, but I really couldn’t give a damn ‘ vibes. She walks in a really studied affected way too. All that clutching each other is just nauseating. She’s 38 for crying out loud. They are supposed to be doing a professional job.

Maybe she felt she needed a different look, especially with the make up, for confidence ? She may have been feeling quite anxious but knew any hint would be pounded upon.

I know if I have an important event/meeting that I’m not 100% confident about or a bit nervous I ensure I have ‘my face’ on and it gives me confidence.

Same as DRM I couldn’t give a damn whether Meghan wears tights or not, whether she’s had her teeth done etc.

I care about how much the three of them are going to cost the tax payer & the implications for our constitution.

Like it or not the RF are part of our constitution. HM is head of state of the UK & commonwealth countries. H&M have put a spotlight on RF by their wanting to withdraw from the job.

But I do agree the exaggerated affection is not appropriate when working. But again, could be for confidence. They’ve always done this so if they changed and were more ‘professional’ in their body language this time people could interpret it negatively.

About the etiquette thing, there is a video of them signing the guest book and she clearly says to Harry "do you want to go first?" And he ushers her to go first

Looks like she’s halfway there to signing the book; remembers Harry, looks at him, and his gesture is more “carry on” ( with what you are doing)

Likewise when they’re walking in. She’s ahead of him. He stops to speak to someone, she just looks like she thinks she’s the lead player all the time.

As a PP noted, there is a film playing in MM’s head where she is the lead star.

With reference to Harry's "I've got your back", that seems tone deaf in view of the cost to the public of their stampede to leave. Talk the talk, walk the walk.

I am glad they are going away soon. They are insufferable.

Just watched a bit of H's speech. He didnt look comfortable, his 'jokes' fell flat, it was like the lights are on but nobody's home to me. I could - and have - given better speeches than that, especially given that it's a cause he is supposedly passionate about.

I wonder how long it'll be until Harry gets the Simon Cowell school of dentistry treatment?
