Let’s strive to keep on topic and not engage with posts designed to disrupt.

Numbers , if I wasn't on app I was going to pm you!
Are you thinking the same as me?Grin

Froq · 27/02/2020 12:04

Why organise special visits to Windsor for example? It wasn’t as though they wanted to be there themselves

Grin quite.

If it isn’t real, I hope the person who created it gets some work from it as it’s very professionally done.

NumbersStation · 27/02/2020 12:05

possibly Wink

ilovejeffgoldblum · 27/02/2020 12:06

😉 😎

NumbersStation · 27/02/2020 12:09

If there is a monthly newsletter, would that mean peace for the rest of the month?

Sold.

ilovejeffgoldblum · 27/02/2020 12:10

Would be nice! Can't see it happening though?

LillianGish · 27/02/2020 12:12

Anybody normal would be able to live comfortably on the (upwards of) £34 million they already have. There would be no need to support themselves financially when they have so much money and property. Actually I think this is the perfect illustration of why however much money you have it's never enough. £34M is obviously a lot of money to most people - more than the majority can ever dream of - but when you are rubbing shoulders with people who have much more than this and you want to maintain multiple houses and a jet set lifestyle it's clearly not enough. Especially if you might end up having to fork out for your own security. The Royal Family are clearly not short of a bob or two - but they live in inherited houses (or apartments) with inherited furniture in often unfashionable parts of the UK. They are not particularly flashy. If they want to jet around in the style of Airmiles Andy they have to suck up to all kinds of unsavoury types for funding (and look where that got him). What I'm not clear about is that if H&M are really all about making money for their charities then how are they going to make any money for themselves? It all sounds a bit murky. Also, how long are they going to be able sustain the public interest (while trying to avoid the public eye) once the royal shine wears off? Diana never lost the royal glitz, but "Call me Harry" looked rather drab and ordinary arriving in Edinburgh in his baseball cap.

Hi folks. We've deleted a few posts and we're hovering over the 'delete thread' button. Please try to address the points not the person - and that way the thread can stay.

Looking at the “meghanonline” website’s T&C (spent way to much time on this Blush) ,
A) they are referring to the courts of England (thought it was supposed to be England and Wakes)
B) claim that the people running it have no connection to the total family
C) the refer to another site “ theduchessofsussex.com” which is for sale for £22,350

ilovejeffgoldblum · 27/02/2020 12:19

Good point Lillian , I would welcome a clear outline of all the costs to the British tax payer, the advantages to us of paying for them ,and what they are planing to contribute to this to offset the burden.
I don't like the opacity and vagueness so far .
They want to be self sufficient ( very admirable!)
But how are they achieving this?
They can't be self sufficient and expect British taxpayers to find them!

NumbersStation · 27/02/2020 12:22

I’m sure the truth will out.

Let us hope that there aren’t gullible ardent H&M fans out there that provide their bank details to that site if it proves to be not on the level.

There may be a few people out there waiting an awful long time waiting for their bargainous corgi hair stuffed cushions.

NumbersStation · 27/02/2020 12:22

Oops - waiting too much!

NumbersStation · 27/02/2020 12:22

Still want the coat though...

NumbersStation · 27/02/2020 12:24

And I could do with a tiara snow globe with plenty of snowflakes in it.

ilovejeffgoldblum · 27/02/2020 12:26

Don't want much then , numbers!
Ps I've asked mn why are poems were deleted?

GracefulHippo · 27/02/2020 12:29

Does the website make anyone else think about the tiara thread? Smile

NumbersStation · 27/02/2020 12:29

They can't be self sufficient and expect British taxpayers to fund them!

And therein lies the rub. As lil said it is too murky.

I’d have been applauding them loudly if they’d gone away for their quiet life quietly. I think the way they’ve gone about it is all wrong and has alienated people who had previously supported them.

Ah well.

NumbersStation · 27/02/2020 12:31

I got lost down a tiara wormhole on that thread.

Sadly my hair cries out for a stylist and a brush and a tiara would be a waste.

Froq · 27/02/2020 12:34

£22,350?

Bargain Grin

ilovejeffgoldblum · 27/02/2020 12:36

I'll take 3! Grin

rockingchaircandle · 27/02/2020 12:41

I’m sure the truth will out. This is a damaging approach though. Its similar to the blinds, and the 'sources say' and links to Tattle. The website is poured over, shared, (I hope there's no fraud) and the next time you see a similar story, you'll think 'well exactly' or 'typical'.

The truth is being reshaped in this process, and you're being, willingly, played.

Absolutepowercorrupts · 27/02/2020 12:45

I don't think anyone would pour over that link, it might get wet.

NumbersStation · 27/02/2020 12:50

The truth will out is a damaging approach?

Nah.

The website is either fake or it is real. The proof of the pudding will be on the 1st. Only they made it March instead of April the fools.

I resent you saying I’m being ‘played’ - I am nothing of the sort.

Froq · 27/02/2020 12:52

I should probably ask for my £22,350 then.

NumbersStation · 27/02/2020 12:54

You’ve more chance of getting a snow globe froq Grin
