Well here we are, another thread for those who wish to discuss. We are not nasty, but we do call account on what is going on, and and what taxpayers pay for.

Lets face it - if an invitation to a Royal wedding dropped into my postbox I would be there - even if I had absolutely no clue why I'd been invited. Although I would really worry about what to wear and what sort of wedding present would be acceptable!

"A source" is quoted in the DM saying how much they are enjoying life in isolation. I'm sceptical (about the source). I think it's a rehashed leak to make it sound like a new story.

We won't hear anything of note until Thomas Markle next breaks cover.

Poor Beatrice, I bet she's really pissed off with life at the moment. And then there's her dad to factor into the equation...

I don't see why they both wouldn't come. MM may not feel like it, but it would cause ill feeling if Harry didn't show up and he will want her there with him.

I don't expect them to hang around though. I think they will fly in, and straight out again. Archie may not even leave Canada.

Harry will attend the wedding, him and Beatrice were very close.
Meghan will not attend, I'd put money on it.

Archie will definitely not be back! Why would she let her trump card come back here, with all the stuff about how HMQ could impound him? ok dramatic language, but I seem to remember a convo about how, if she wanted to, HMQ could prevent him leaving the country.

If it's a very private wedding we won't know unless someone leaks. It would be very poor of her not to attend for any reason other than early pregnancy, and even then there would need to be a real risk of her vomiting on the church steps for her to be excused.

If I were Beatrice I’d want Harry there but would not want Meghan there, she’d find some way to hog the attention like she did at Eugenies

It’s not her fault who her dad (or grabby mum) is.

Anyone else thought Kate and William looked happy and relieved yesterday in Wales? I thought they looked stressed out earlier this week at the BAFTAs.

I bet Harry’s back in the UK. I hope he’s ok. I think he’s going to need a lot of TLC.

29th May will be another Friday ceremony then. Wonder whether there will be another arrangement to televise it? I assume PA will have to take a back seat, and I read last time he'd pushed for a lot of the royal trappings for his princess Grin. So there may be less of a drive for ITV and co to get involved, but then again they may be as happy or happier to do it without Andrew breathing down their necks...

I also think it'll be unlikely that Meghan comes. Bet they say she's got some important feelgood charitable gig that day, and they don't want to get Archie jetlagged for something he's too young to appreciate. Harry will go alone and (my prediction) will look surprisingly relieved about it.

I also read that Reese was invited but declined on the grounds that it was all a bit random as she had not met either the bride or groom.

I hope Bea has a lovely day too. Those girls get an awful lot of flak, they seem quite harmless (if overprivileged) to me.

I think the Hollywood A-list circle is much snobbier than the UK aristos.

H&M will get superficial smiles and pleasantries, but will not be allowed in.
If I was an Oscar nominee and see them grabbing the spotlight I’d wonder why the fuck are they attending.

This obvious attempt to backdoor your way into Hollywood with a C-list acting resume is really quite pathetic.

Sure is. It's also correct (though it may not be true) in that they don't really have a reason to go to the Oscars other than networking. They'll have to think up a 'project' fast if that's the plan.

I cant think of any other world famous couple who claim to want a quiet life but would at the same time think that going to the Oscars was anything remotely resembling a plan.
