No harm in having it ready for the next event/announcement...

@kirinm yes I know MM is suing the Daily Mail. I believe it’s been mentioned Wink

I don’t think she’ll win, or rather won’t win covered in glory.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 28/01/2020 21:44

Yes I wonder what Meghan thinks of Harry’s nazi outfit.

I imagine they will have consigned it to the same sealed vault that contains Meghan's "hooker" outfit.

Dongdingdong · 28/01/2020 21:49

I think D.

Agreed.

You think they’ll be back in a few months - really? I definitely don’t see that happening at all. No way will Meghan be back.

JulietJanuary · 28/01/2020 21:51

A

It's the globalised world for them now.

Poppyfields That outfit just boggles my mind.

DandyAndFine · 28/01/2020 21:51

I think A or C.

I don’t think Meghan will come back here.

SunsetBoulevard3 · 28/01/2020 21:53

I don’t think there’s any chance Meghan will be back. Agree the RF are doing all they can to smooth the way for both of them to return without losing face, whilst expecting it only to be Harry.

DandyAndFine · 28/01/2020 21:54

And I think Harry may want to come back - although not yet - but it’ll be hard for him to. What would his position be? As I think someone else said, he’s burnt his bridges with the armed forces, which was “his people” outside of the RF.

yolofish · 28/01/2020 21:54

I was silly and immature in my youth, but I dont think I ever dressed up as a nazi!

I think H will be back at some stage; if M wants to come she would at least be outwardly welcomed by the RF to show support for H.

Whether the british public will welcome her back with open arms - I think it is unlikely.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 28/01/2020 21:59

You think they’ll be back in a few months - really? I definitely don’t see that happening at all. No way will Meghan be back.

I think in her current frame of mind she wouldn't consider it. Given a few more weeks of paparazzi intrusion I think she might be forced to. To do that she will need to reinvent herself somewhat, and I think she's capable of it, at least superficially.

SunsetBoulevard3 · 28/01/2020 22:02

yolo me neither. But I’m sure he is deeply ashamed of himself now. Hope so anyway!

SunsetBoulevard3 · 28/01/2020 22:04

They’d really look like complete idiots if they came back now.

darktriad · 28/01/2020 22:04

Not sure she will return, I think she has her sights set on California, Canada was just a stepping stone.

FramboiseRoyale · 28/01/2020 22:06

I really have no idea, but I hope they stay together, maybe have another child, and come back some day.

yolofish · 28/01/2020 22:06

fleas I suppose that depends on whether the paps were invited or not. I find it interesting that there have been no 'intrusions' since H went back (and in the six pre xmas weeks) - so either they are contented with domestic bliss and walking around the (very private) grounds, or he's put the foot down.

DandyAndFine · 28/01/2020 22:06

I don’t think it’s just the press intrusion though. I think it’s also criticism. They’re still getting it from the place that they live even though they’ve changed that place. And it’s not somewhere that’s central to the work they’ll be carrying out. I think they’ll move to LA, ostensibly to be near her mother. But really so they focus on being in TV production and doing famous people things.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 28/01/2020 22:08

As new and first time parents I don't think they have even begun to think about the logistics of this. What sort of education do they envisage for Archie? In what church, if any, will he be raised? Where will his sibling, if any, be born? What about nannies and other staff?

rockingchaircandle · 28/01/2020 22:09

peace I also agree. Rocking can you not see that you are being hypocritical?

I think the agreement is unsurprising given the ratios in the thread. I think I've explained my position. Play the ball not the man. This is getting to be quite the goady pile on, so feel free to look at my posts where I've explained recently. (And all the other times it's been demanded before!)

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 28/01/2020 22:13

I find it interesting that there have been no 'intrusions' since H went back (and in the six pre xmas weeks)

That's true, yolo. I was thinking of an earlier post that reckoned they had two paps on permanent watch, but you're right, nothing has appeared yet.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 28/01/2020 22:15

Play the ball not the man

If you could do this, rocking you would find people much more responsive to your opposing view. We may not agree but we can be kind to each other in disagreement.

SunsetBoulevard3 · 28/01/2020 22:16

quite the goady pile on,
Shoe and other foot spring to mind.

rockingchaircandle · 28/01/2020 22:16

@Myimaginarycathasfleas how on earth would you be able to tell if they'd thought of that stuff yet or not?

I hope they find something that works for them, and to come back for visits or to stay if they'd like to. No matter how heated the wrangling as a firm it got over the contracts side, I hope it settles and the Royal Family as a whole can move forward. I'm sure there's recriminations and regret on both sides. It would be good for Archie to see his cousins, but it's also important to develop a working model for living outside the RF as it traditionally is. Because the cousins may well need it too in the future.

yolofish · 28/01/2020 22:17

rockingchair you are very disingenous in your posts. Which is fine, but then don't expect not to be picked up on it?

Most people on these threads are exploring the issues (which do have constituational issues) but repeatedly being told we are all racist/misogynist/stupid/whatever the flavour of the day is does just kind of end up in people getting pissed off!

rockingchaircandle · 28/01/2020 22:19

@Myimaginarycathasfleas
@SunsetBoulevard3
@ all the other posters of the same opinion

I see this as goady. Please see my previous posts.

FramboiseRoyale · 28/01/2020 22:21

Because the cousins may well need it too in the future.

This is a really good point. Charlotte and Louis may not want to be working royals. George might not want to either, but he likely won't have much of a choice, assuming that the UK (or what's left of it after Brexit plus a few years) is still a monarchy.

rockingchaircandle · 28/01/2020 22:24

@yolofish

To make one thing as clear as possible, I only call stuff racist, misogynistic etc if I think it is. I don't say it about everything, that's disingenuous.

I'll keep on doing this. Great if there's no need to...
