I dont get why it is misogynistic to not warm to a particular woman.

I can think of loads of real life women I absolutely adore, and quite a few who I ... dont.

I'm all for women succeding, and in fact for barriers to their success being brought down. What I dont particularly like is when a woman appears to use her femininity in a particular way. So I dont like lovey doveyness or being touch feely in public, as if to show off how much in lurve you are - lots of people do, I just dont.

Where’s the hate?

Media attention creates discussion. Hypocrisy invites criticism.

Personally, I’m not a fan of either of them and I find a lot of their motivations entirely self-serving.

You visit a dog shelter but only share a photo of yourself, why not showcase some of the dogs in need of homes? Sending wedding flowers to kids with cancer? Bananas to sex workers?

The dish wash commercial speech she gave is another one. Failed to mention it was a class project that everyone participated in.

Then we have the whole ‘didn’t know what she was getting into’ narrative that can easily be rebutted with her own words and actions pre-H. Along with the ‘hiding away from media attention’ yet we have pap walks and social media releases timed to coincide when other members of the RF hit the press.

She had no history of humanitarianism before she began closing the net on H. It's all just a paid for PR narrative. And not a very good one at that.

The coat flicking is, to some people including myself, an actress getting her best shot. Why shouldn’t we talk about it?

If someone has insincere motivations, we absolutely can question what they do.

I always thought the clothes in Suits (and I ground through all 7 series) were absolutely INSANE. Skirts so tight, heels so high it was amazing that they walked at all. It’s all about female empowerment dontcha know!

froq post brings me back to my previous post maybe on the last thread - if you seek attention on social media you have to be prepared for good and bad responses.

Not everyone everywhere is going to love you, some people are going to hate you whether you deserve it or not.

Megan is almost 40, has worked her way up through bit parts to getting a decent role in Suits, then married a prince. Dont try and tell me that she never encountered anything tricky on social media before she got married!

As long as its not cranks threatening something terrible - which I dont think anyone of any of these 15 threads have - then you have to take the rough with the smooth.

I can’t see them returning tbh, wonder if they’ve been asked to pay rent on that huge mansion yet. That can’t be cheap to run.

As far as the bump thing... any pregnant woman can look after their bump how they want, even if they are on camera. I had massive huge babies so probably cradled them top and bottom. It's just such a mean thing to criticise someone about.
I can imagine a thread on here... I'm heavily pregnant and went to a PTA meeting and a load of women there ripped me a new one about how I cradle my bump and said I was attention seeking.

Amazing that MN have not deleted a 15-thread 'orchestrated campaign of hate'. You'd think something like that would break Talk guidelines to an extent which justified removing the lot.
