Interesting Instagram moment. For the first time @SussexRoyal have overtaken @KensingtonRoyal in terms of followers.

I had raclette for lunch.
Melted cheese poured over potato and charcuterie.

I haven’t posted much in this thread as there doesn’t appear to be a lot of content.
The previous threads had interesting discussion.
Every time I come on this particular one, it seems to be a bun fight.

I have just send DH to the Co-Op to get some chocolate peanuts.

I really fancy chocolate peanuts at the moment.

I was very interested by Rocking's point about the unpleasant instagram posts being the aberant behaviour and not the putting up of old images and glad there was some debate about this .

Gave me something to think about ,which is what I like to get from MN .
Not so keen on having quite so much chit chat about food and drink.
But we're all different .

Peridito I've been to Leonardo exhibition in Holyrood House a couple of years back and we commented that it felt expensive!

um....I personally think it might be an idea to have a seperate thread ,not in the Royal Family section,for the exchange of what people are eating .

After all - who would know? It looks mightily impressive.

Re - bunfights - we are doing our best to avoid them.

I think there is also a natural hiatus at the moment, as Meghan and Harry haven't done anything worth discussing.

But they will. It's only a matter of time. We may be surprised and find it's something with which we are in complete agreement.

I think the problem is that when we discuss MM we are often told to justify our opinions and then when we do those are then pulled at and a bun fight ensues. I'd love to see this thread get back to the way of the others. As a pp said "we just love the drama!" Mind you it's all very quiet in Vancouver now Hazza is back and keeping an eye on things so that's probably why there's not much to say right now.

I took a look at the SussexRoyal instagram posts earlier and was surprised that they were so needlessly unpleasant. For that reason alone I wouldn't follow them.

curly a local farmers market to me cooks and sells what they call "raclette" cooked in a huge pan like a paella pan. But it's actually sliced up potato's, ham, onion and cheese all fried together. It's delicious but looks nothing like that photo you posted.

I wonder if entrance fees kept low /non existent so that lots of people can access the collection ?

That would be the aim, peridito. Accessibility is fundamental to the public benefit that charities need to demonstrate. (I'm saying this with my very much former work hat on, apologies if it's boring!)

We seem to have become a cohesive group, interested in one another.

Maybe the Sussexes are temporarily an uninteresting subject for discussion.

But we enjoy a bit of banter.

PH has possibly persuaded MM not to go out with the dogs and the baby (just asking for trouble) and she has decided that he has a good point.

Personally, it seems more likely to me that MM likes going out with the dogs and the baby (and why shouldn't she) and was unfortunate in getting papped the first time she did.

It's almost as though someone told them she would be there.

On a pointless and unrelated note , did you know Gandhi actually admitted to hitting and abusing his wife! . So I'm not sure wether any one is all good or all bad 🤔. Mm will definitely do something soon I don't think she can really stop herself . She craves the spotlight too much( in my opinion)

Yep, I knew Gandhi was a wife-beater and a hypocrite to boot. He forbade his wife to take life-saving medicine, but after she died he used medicine when he was unwell.

Mother Theresa had more dodgy acquaintances than Prince Andrew.

I am pleased not to be hearing about Harry & Meghan tbh. I hope they stay out of the public eye right now and are ensuring that, whatever they do in the future, it doesn't disrespect the RF.

I think all of the RF should take stock atm, listen to public opinions and consider whether they are behaving appropriately, especially with regard to merchandising. I would like them all to get on and try to repair their relationships.
