I hope I've got what everyone wants in the title of this, the twelfth thread in the series.

As the old saying goes, there are two sides to every story. I thought TM presented his side far better than I expected. I'm sure the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

TM appears to be reactive; the things he did (and openly admitted to) were in direct response to either a lack of much needed support or his perception of personal attacks on his character.

IMHO, I think that should H + M's marriage falter in the future, Harry will seek out his FIL for a long overdue one-to-one chat. I think he'll learn lots of things he wished he knew before the wedding.

I also wonder whether Archie will seek out Thomas when he's older. If he does, I hope Thomas remains in good enough health to allow them to build a grandfather/grandson relationship.

@OVienna...he lives in Mexico and Medicare is limited outside US. He did say he crossed the border for treatment.

I know he didn't say that he was doing it to pay his medical bills. I only said it was a possibility. I know my mum ( who used to live in US) said Medicare didn't cover everything.

It’s all academic now, but Meghan could have learnt a lot from Michelle Obama’s approach in the White House, to be a RF member in a different way.

Having looked at it though, MM's animal charity photo got significantly more 'likes' than KM's work..

That’s just the online Khardashianesque fanbase, and as Ovienna said, mostly Americans.
It’s absolutely no reflection on work and outreach in the real world.
MM and her team do things for optics, and their real goal is online numbers.

Meghan does seem to be ruthless in eliminating people from her life once they no longer serve her.

@SusanneLinder so I have lived in California and my uncle who is TMs generation has friends who retired to Mexico. He will be eligible to come back to the US and be treated on Medicare. Incidentally I don't know how the US to Mexico immigration thing works. My parents have looked into living to the UK and it is a concern how they would pay for their insurance here. I mean - this must have been something TM considered too. Maybe it is different with Mexico.

I thought that when TM referred to MM’s early roles playing pros or strippers, that he was clarifying for the record they were roles and not real. Photos accompanied it. It was so early on that he wasn’t very forceful about it - his confidence grows through the doc.

The Narcsite article, while getting her first husband’s name wrong throughout, also refers to her working as a stripper and I really do not think that she did. Loads of young actors get sex worker bit parts in things like Law and Order or CSI and their endless spinoffs. Like being in Casualty or Doctors or Silent Witness here. I don’t think that MM was ever a real stripper. She didn’t need to be, frankly.

I don't think Harry would touch TM with a barge pole, ever. It's amazing he married her having had so little interaction with his family and so quickly. That is true IMO whoever they were. And then to think before a live wedding you could WING IT. WTF x10000.

If you think of the casting characters in this melodrama you couldn't make it up. As a PP said: no one would buy it.

Just my opinion , but it sounds the kind of thing she would say to make people love her and probably didn't think he would say it in an interview. It's the 'poor me ' approach.

The interview with her dad was strange ; he clearly adored her and was very invested in her life and quite candid too ( I'm no saint remark) but he also seems bitter and that letter from her has more in it. His keeping that back for the future I feel.
I believed he was duped by the journalist about the suit , but he should have been a bit more wary. Compared to other people Behaviour it's not the end of the world but damaged things enough for him to have burnt his bridges.
Leaving to live with your dad at 11 was another turning point for her : seems she'll cling onto to the ones that make her feel good about herself or have the money! I get the impression it was a hard life living with him and he probably just gave into her a lot.
A dysfunctional family indeed and I bet there's more to come out one day.

I can visualise Camilla taking care of TM if he had attended the wedding, and steering him away if he was about to commit any terrible gaffes.

I picked up on her acting all the time in those videos. Most children that age would shrink away from a camera but she lapped up the attention at such a young age.

The woman MM is a narcissist. Its as clear as day to anyone who has ever been unfortunate enough to be in a relationship with ne. I feel for Harry , I believe he is literally been torn apart giving up all he has ever known and many things he holds precious because that's what she wants. Narcissists don't think like the rest of us, it literally wont have occurred to her that his needs matter. he will be torn in two, forced to go against what he believes to be right, against his own nature to satisfy this woman he loves.

At this point I wanted to kill myself when it was me, I fear for Harry's mental health.

Not all of the Instagram followers will be fans. There appear to be a lot of negative comments left on their posts. People will be following just to see the latest saga of the royal soap opera. With the amount of negative feedback I'm not sure it would be wise for a business/ company to use them to promote their products.
