I hope I've got what everyone wants in the title of this, the twelfth thread in the series.

Mustress
we do not want a series of messages deleted and the integrity of the thread threatened

If you don't want messages deleted then posters shouldn't break Talk Guidelines .

What on earth is the integrity of this thread ?

WendyMoiraAngelaDarling · 22/01/2020 21:46

There's 12 threads. What I describe crops up at intervals throughout them all. Anyone who cares enough can go back and find them. They're there for all to see. Now if you don't mind I am going to ignore you from now on unless what you're saying is directly about the thread subject matter and not tedious nit picking. Thanks!

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 22/01/2020 21:46

OK, so we now get an inkling of the financial side of things. She gave him $20,000 over 2 years, apparently, but it seems like this was in response to regular requests from him. He seems to feel entitled to her support and thinks it wasn't much to ask given how much he had paid for her education.

I feel quite uncomfortable about the dynamics of their relationship when it was just the two of them. Not suggesting anything sinister, but he seemed as dependant on her as she was on him. The difference being she was a child.

OVienna · 22/01/2020 21:46

Sunset - I agree it's mostly old news so far. But despite the modest delivery style I can imagine him being tucking difficult somehow. JURY IS OUT though.

Roussette · 22/01/2020 21:48

There are mixed messages on this thread. I was told to pull up a chair and make my point and discuss.
Yet the OP tells everyone not to engage, to ignore the SCOLDS (ridiculous word) for fear this thread with integrity gets pulled.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 22/01/2020 21:48

That is shit of the press to follow him.

ILearn · 22/01/2020 21:49

.

peridito · 22/01/2020 21:49

^Mustress* I have no idea of how many posts you have reported other than the 2 that you mentioned in the course of these threads .

Which is why I said "I think " and added a ?

WendyMoiraAngelaDarling · 22/01/2020 21:50

Thanks for PM Flicking. Don't think it was deletion worthy but never mind.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 22/01/2020 21:50

He could definitely have done with some help and advice

OVienna · 22/01/2020 21:51

She and Harry should have helped manage the situation. I do agree. But maybe she felt so uncertain herself she couldn't cope with his bloody needs too. I can imagine that.

(I'm talking to myself. I know. Sorry! )

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 22/01/2020 21:51

Not reflecting well on Harry or RF that he wasn't supported better in dealing with the press. Quite unforgivable, especially considering the whining they do when their own privacy is compromised, but he was expected to deal with itHmm

StubbleTurnips · 22/01/2020 21:52

Agree Curly if it’s true and H&M just said ignore the press then that is terrible advice.
He’s very softly spoken, currently I do feel sorry for him. That may change.

TheMustressMhor · 22/01/2020 21:53

WendyMoira

I absolutely agree that it is very difficult to ignore certain messages and I am sitting on my hands sometimes.

But it has worked on previous threads.

This thread started in a highly light-hearted and cheery vein and we were all enjoying ourselves.

At the moment a few posters are interrupting our banter and badinage, and changing the entire mood. That is a great shame.

Roll on Thread Thirteen (Harry and Meghan - The Return of Cousin Matthew) and also the return of some humour.

OVienna · 22/01/2020 21:54

This role has stretched her acting abilities to the max,

He's needy needy needy. I think a child of this person could ask themselves: OK, your needs. Just this one time can you support me?

Nikhedonia · 22/01/2020 21:54

This letter opening is a bit Hmm

Encyclo · 22/01/2020 21:54

Well I'm intent on participating.

WTAF is TM still talking about paying for her tuition? He's her parent ffs. I'm to the pin of my collar paying for my ds at the moment. He has a parttime job which makes no impact on the cost and I still fund his "walking around money"

Why is he so keen to tell us he paid? If she wants to say she paid her own way through college let her.

PerfPower · 22/01/2020 21:54

I feel a bit sorry for him - when she needed help, he gave it. When he needed help, she didn't return the courtesy.

Froq · 22/01/2020 21:55

The thread is much easier to read when they’re being ignored. Gets tiresome scrolling through whenever anyone responds to them.

OVienna · 22/01/2020 21:56

He's her dad though.

Nikhedonia · 22/01/2020 21:57

Why is he so keen to tell us he paid?

Pride? Maybe he is embarrassed about having borrowed money off his daughter

TidaQuel · 22/01/2020 21:57

Agree with curlywurlytwirly.

Megan was worth 4.5 million and earning $400,000 for each episode of suits.
4 loans of $5000 seems quite a small amount comparatively.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 22/01/2020 21:58

I think the “family she ever had” was a line she fed Harry.
Really bad that a Harry didn’t meet him.

GuytheBeagle · 22/01/2020 21:58

Oh dear.

FiveTwoFaster · 22/01/2020 21:58

The pap stuff is too much. Poor man. How did they not help him? Just for a few months. Even if he turns out to be really awful, how would anyone manage this day in day out? Shy, early retired, self conscious, under siege.
