Does this look a ridiculous baby sling or is MM cack handed?

This just looks really uncomfortable for MM and her son? Does she have it on right? I had one of those babybjorns and it seemed a lot of less strappy and one sided than this contraption?

I would fuck right off as well given the low level of nasty shite being slung around by people

Roussette · 21/01/2020 13:41

Oaky321 I have looked. You are sounding deranged.

Perhaps she's proud of her bump and happy she's pregnant?

Oooops didn't realise you weren't allowed to be proud and happy on a site for women, mostly with children. Silly me.

SciFiScream · 21/01/2020 13:46

Sadly I've seen these photos. I wish I hadn't. It's our response to the photos (and by our I mean everyone responding/reacting) that drives the demand.

My first thought was "they haven't long left the safety of HRH aligned press protection before this has happened"

My second thought was "hmmm this looks arranged" I am sad that I have been so manipulated by the media to think this second thought.

And here I am commenting. And so the circle continues.

If MM is terrible, so am I. We all are.

Bibidy · 21/01/2020 13:53

She's obviously thrown the baby on for her 5 min paparazzi shoot and then probably gone back inside again. I'm sure he wasn't in any danger.

KittyRainbow · 21/01/2020 14:06

He looks too big to still be in a sling.

Ha. My 2.5 year old still goes in a sling (and my 4 year old if I'm feeling soft).
8 months is still pretty much a tiny baby ffs

’The images which sparked a legal warning by the couple show Meghan walking with the couple’s son, Archie, in Canadian woodland. They have been used in a number of outlets, notably on the front page of the Sun, and were said to have been taken by photographers concealed in bushes.’

’The new photos from Canada are said by lawyers for the Sussexes to have been part of a spate of “unacceptable” paparazzi behaviour, including attempts to photograph them inside their home using long-range lenses.’

Cordylina · 21/01/2020 14:20

From the Guardian

Parker231 · 21/01/2020 14:23

What is wrong with coat flicking - not sure what it is?

Oaky321 · 21/01/2020 14:24

From another thread:

Note the wording: "threaten to sue". Not "will sue" or "intend to sue". It's a well known gambit (though I couldn't comment as to if was the case here) where the celeb gets to put out a statement of plausible deniability that the shots were staged and the paps love it because a) the "fact" the shots were "covert" and now "notorious" for allegedly not being staged they increase in value because you two stories for the price of one in which they are used (the original and then the "sue" story b) they know they are not going to be sued.

NotNowPlzz · 21/01/2020 14:24

Omg fuck off.

ANuggetOfTheFinestGreen · 21/01/2020 14:25

Jeez, I'm just god I'm not famous or the paps would have had a field day of me apparently dangling my firstborn by his rucksack this morning. What I actually did was catch the rucksack loop as he slipped on ice...

Maybe the press caught her in an awkward moment of trying to adjust a strap whilst holding two dogs leads and trying not to drop any of it...

Just leave her the feck alone, she's doing a cracking job of being a mum, would you all rather she had Archie raised by an army of nannies and helpers and never saw him? Forget the fact that she is American and dared to marry a prince, she's a first time mum with a cracking in-laws problem.

Cordylina · 21/01/2020 14:28

Of course no one takes long lens shots of the royal family without their knowledge or consent. It’s not like someone took pictures of Kate Middleton changing her bikini from half a mile away that were then published in magazines. Oh wait...

ANuggetOfTheFinestGreen · 21/01/2020 14:30

I'm not "God" I'm "Glad"!!

LaurieMarlow · 21/01/2020 14:32

Perhaps she's proud of her bump and happy she's pregnant?

God forbid, right?

I mean, she is American/mixed race and dared to ‘steal our prince’ so the fact that she also got pregnant made some sad fuckers explode with rage. Hence the bizarre outrage about bump touching and coat flicking.

worriedabouthealth · 21/01/2020 14:36

Pretty obvious to me she’s done what most baby wearers do when they want to feed their baby in the sling loosen a strap and adjust baby to that position

WonkyDonk87 · 21/01/2020 14:38

Was just about to say the same. I loosen a strap on my connecta to be able to feed DD when we're out walking.

OllyBJolly · 21/01/2020 14:42

She is looking radiant! They've made the right decision.

worriedabouthealth · 21/01/2020 14:58

It’s def how I’ve fed in my Tula so I’m sure that’s what it is

If not maybe she was just uncomfy so changed position but I would guess feeding

@worriedabouthealth and @WonkyDonk87 stop being sensible. You must say what a dreadful mother she is for using a sling/baby carrier and loosening a strap to bf.

worriedabouthealth · 21/01/2020 16:25

🤣

WonkyDonk87 · 21/01/2020 16:27

Well quite! If she was HALF the mother I am.... she'd be able to do what I do and flop a tit out without needing to drop the shoulder Grin

LaurieMarlow · 21/01/2020 16:28

I never mastered feeding in the sling. Jealous of all the ninja mums out there who did. Including Meghan Wink

Settlersofcatan · 21/01/2020 16:29

It's pretty unlikely that she is breastfeeding or she wouldn't have been a continent away from the baby for a few days. Of course you can express/mix feed but surely you would just take the baby with you if you could

PortiaCastis · 21/01/2020 16:32

Well how does anyone know if the baby came along on the trip or not as nobody is privy to personal details (believe it or not) nobody can state gir sure where the child was at any given time
