Previous thread

-Today Prince Harry is doing the draw for the Rugby League. (Not sure if it’s a public location but there’s bound to be a lot of press interest)

  • He has said he is going to stay in the UK for a bit longer to thrash out the details of “Megxit”
  • Meghan has been on a second surprise visit in Vancouver
  • Opinion coming out of Canada is that; not only do they not want to fund the Sussexes; having a member of the a Royal Family make Canada their permanent home is not acceptable.

Prince Harry has just arrived at BP
Looks like he's taking last minute instructions from Meghan on the phone.

Meghan graduated in 2003 in theatre and international studies from Northwestern. Checked it in under a minute. Don't just make up stuff where the correct information is so easy to find!

its just chatter, what’s the problem? H&M are getting plenty of cloying sycophantic support online if that’s whats bothering people.

anyone can start an Andrew thread 🤷‍♀️.

At a quick glance I thought that was PA driving him. I thought blimey, he really has been demoted!

In Meghan's defence, she did graduate Northwestern with a degree in International Studies as well as theatre and she did an internship at the US Embassy in Argentina. She obviously always had an interest in foreign affairs.

The problem is she is on the boundaries of the type of person that Ricky Gervais was calling out at the Globe awards a few weeks ago ( I know his controversial, but a lot did ring true)
' do as I say , not as I do'' I know better than you do'.

The good causes they champion have to soldier on after they have gone away: the celeb/ royals go back to their lovely homes and money and privileges and beautiful clothes. It starts to get jarring , even if the publicity is good initially or they actively seek out royal patronage themselves. Im not sure how that works though.
I think she is in danger of becoming annoying and that won't help the charities much. It's a double edged sword really and depends how passionate she feels about these causes really or is it just about herself?

Why would French Canadians be unhappy other than the fact they don't speak French? Have I missed something?

Well the French - Canadian or otherwise- really don't do royalty. Mind you most Canadians just like them to fly in for a short period of time then go away again (I'm French Canadian so I get to voice an opinion on both counts!)

Yes to Andrew having essentially now been locked in a cupboard.

Public opinion has been formed. Not much to add.

Someone needs to rein Meghan in.

She is becoming an embarrassment now.

Anyone else feel like this? He also lost his mother and stoically walked behind the carriage but had to shoulder the role of elder brother

No. They are workshy and William was protected from his frankly rude and boorish behavior by the press.

Let’s not rewrite history just because they happen to be standing next to a dumpster fire 🔥

Maybe the nanny has just sent him a photo of Archie.

He must miss him.

Ricky was talking about the Hollywood end of this. DeCaprio is a prime example.

SerenDippitty Thu 16-Jan-20 09:04:10 Does anyone else think it was really cheeky of them to ask to live at Windsor Castle?

Shock What? When was this? Does anyone else (family wise) live in Windsor Castle besides the Queen?

every family has one embarrassing uncle nobody likes to talk about. Andrew was always a dead cert but never thought it’d be Harry.
