Previous thread

-Today Prince Harry is doing the draw for the Rugby League. (Not sure if it’s a public location but there’s bound to be a lot of press interest)

  • He has said he is going to stay in the UK for a bit longer to thrash out the details of “Megxit”
  • Meghan has been on a second surprise visit in Vancouver
  • Opinion coming out of Canada is that; not only do they not want to fund the Sussexes; having a member of the a Royal Family make Canada their permanent home is not acceptable.

Maybe he's hung like a donkey? 🤷‍♀️🤣🤣

He's about average, judging from the Vegas nudes. There's one where he's naked and cupping the crown jewels, there's another where he's letting it all hang. And the girls there are like "ok" so he can't be THAT huge.

strictlymomdancing · 16/01/2020 23:30

can't keep up with this thread.

pretty pissed off about the song. They KNOW people will be scrutinizing everything they say, do and post. Its definitely a message.

Utter cunts. Just fuck off the pair of youse.

JulietJanuary · 16/01/2020 23:30

Sorry for any confusion BillieEilish.

Good night all.

bohemia14 · 16/01/2020 23:30

I'm pretty sure that on Archie's birth certificate Meghan was listed as 'Princess of the United Kingdom'. I was slightly taken aback when I read that.

Just as I was slightly taken aback when I found out that she'd been fast tracked into the Church of England and baptised by the Archbishop of Canterbury using the Lily Font from the Crown Jewels.

I think the Royal family bent over backwards to accommodate Harry's choice of bride. They must be surely be reflecting on this.

It's a sad situation but also one that they have a right to feel angry about.

BillieEilish · 16/01/2020 23:31

scary, that's funny!

SpinneyHill · 16/01/2020 23:32

A chef? But they were roasting their own chicken when he proposed, they told us so.
unless....they lied

I simply cannot believe they would do that to us.

Mummy195 · 16/01/2020 23:33

SpinneyHill. I had already read this link you gave.

What I was hoping for was The Sun / DM group going on a blow by blow, where they prove what they say is real. All they keep saying is how MM is a public figure and they have to report on her, but MM is not saying she does not want reporting on her, she is stipulating specific false reports.

So, the paper would have to prove that: there is an orangery, an extension for Doria, golden bath, yoga studio, sound proofing, tennis court etc. They do not even elude to these thing and I expect the rags to come out proving these things exist, because according to MM lawsuit they don't exist.

They do not address the claim that MM has been supporting her father and offered to to send people to help him cope.

The document adds: “The true position is that the Claimant has a long history of looking after her father’s welfare and trying to find solutions to any health problems… she did provide extensive financial support for him, as well as act as primary caregiver for her grandmother… her father did not telephone her to explain that he was not coming to her wedding… her team in Los Angeles did provide him with continued support for which he had expressed gratitude… she had reached out to him prior to the wedding and sought to protect him, as well as to ensure that he would be able to come to the wedding… she did not ignore him afterwards.”

Also, this Mail document does not defend against MM lawyers disputing the following :

  • Straight out of Compton,
-Mosque cookbook links to terrorists like Jihadi John, -MM staff walking out, when infact they extended their contracts and came out of retirement to help her (later I hear some have been reshuffled within Sussex Royal) -her eating avocados is fuelling is fuelling human rights, draught and murder, -inflating the price of her baby shower, -saying her mother was not invited to baby shower, -not stating that Frogmore was a grade 2 listed building already undergoing needed renovations, funded by HM as part of her obligations.

I will probably have to start a stand alone thread on the MM vs Rags title as this thread is finished.

SingingLily · 16/01/2020 23:34

Turning in now, although this thread moves so fast, we'll be halfway through the next thread before dawn!

Night, all.

FlickingVees · 16/01/2020 23:34

Paris is worth the Mass, so they say.
Wow I didn’t realise she was catholic, Jewish and now Anglican.
That’s some quick change record.

About Catherine, I mean wouldn’t it be lovely if she was Princess Catherine, instead of Princess William iykwim.
I think she’s put in the hours. She might get another little miniature portrait badge thingy to wear on a sash. I think they’re kind of cute.

I saw the PH rugby draw video and have to say he’s looking like the old PH. I thought he looked very well without the old ball and chain.

Maybe he’ll stay on, or come back after a few months, and leave Madam to it.
I do hope Archie is ok, wherever he is.

And I hope all cat mums are doing ok this evening also.

SpinneyHill · 16/01/2020 23:35

@bohemia14 But she converted to Judaism for her last wedding and she meant it goddamit.

I'm just laughing at this point. The UK are fools if the Newsnight audience is anything to go by

bohemia14 · 16/01/2020 23:39

@SpinneyHill I've not met a single person in real life who has a good word to say about Harry and Meghan at the moment. I was quite surprised that so many of the Newsnight audience seemed to be supporting them.

SpinneyHill · 16/01/2020 23:39

If you are feeding lies to the press deliberately and knowingly you lose the right to complain about other lies told about you in the press.

colouringinpro · 16/01/2020 23:39

scary thanks, interesting article.

BillieEilish · 16/01/2020 23:40

Bugger, I have to go to bed. DD has tonsillitis and we have to go to the docs for 8 tomorrow.

First thing I do when back, is check the thread!

I hope you are all ok tonight.

"Two Happy Meals and a milkshake from McDonald's and a bucket of KFC, what Meghan's dad bought two days after 'heart attack'
Meghan Markle's father was spotted grabbing two Happy Meals from McDonald's and a chocolate milkshake to wash it all down last Thursday
Thomas Markle Sr, 73, now claims that just two days prior he had suffered a heart attack and had to seek medical attention
DailyMail.com can report however that Meghan’s father did not seek medical attention on the day of his 'heart attack'
A few hours later, Thomas Sr stopped by KFC to pick up a bucket of friend chicken for his dinner
Thomas Sr was also spotted getting Chinese food near his home on Mexico on May 1, a week before the fast food feasts, both of which Thomas Sr ate in his car
He popped into a 7-11 after crossing the border in San Diego the day after his 'heart attack,' where he grabbed a Yoohoo, Gas-X, Frappuccino and some snacks"

BackyardChickens · 16/01/2020 23:43

Well fuck me, shit has well and truly hit the fan hasn’t it! She will never come back to the UK.

GoFiguire · 16/01/2020 23:43

I hope the Queen is OK. This could finish Prince Philip off.

colouringinpro · 16/01/2020 23:44

If anyone can explain who the Soho club or the "yachting scene" are from various articles and tweets, that Megan was supposed to be in with?

strictlymomdancing · 16/01/2020 23:47

Is the "yachting scene" similar to the stories about young female celebs going to monaco / cannes and going onto boats as "guests"?

scaryteacher · 16/01/2020 23:49

Mosque cookbook links to terrorists like Jihadi John, No, the mosque was linked, not the Hub kitchen

-her eating avocados is fuelling is fuelling human rights, draught and murder, Again, no. If you read carefully, the article says that avocados as a desirable crop fuel murder and drought. My Mum likes avocados; I don't think she (as a committed Christian) fuels murder.

not stating that Frogmore was a grade 2 listed building already undergoing needed renovations, funded by HM as part of her obligations. The media did say that though, that Frogmore Cottage had been staff quarters, it was listed (hence all the interest in the planning permission) and that it needed redoing. I read that in a couple of newspapers.

If one doesn't take the time to read something properly, then you miss the bleeding obvious. The DM was very careful in how it wrote imo.

user1477391263 · 16/01/2020 23:50

I hope they can work all this out because there is an innocent little baby in the middle of all this.

Charles must be cautiously planning his next move, because I think his actions here, as well as whatever happens as the Uncle Andrew story starts to really unfold, are going to be seen as his first actions as "monarch" (he is already a kind of joint monarch by default, and I think it's likely there will be a regency a few years from now). If he can get everyone to negotiate a solution that makes everyone happy and prevents the monarchy being damaged, it will give him a lot of credibility as future regent and king.

Chocpear · 16/01/2020 23:55

I mean other than being rich & a Prince he’s not exactly a catch. He’s unintelligent, he has THE best education money can buy & barely passed his exams, he’s balding, he’s not aged well. I doubt she’d look twice at him if it wasn’t for the bag 💰

I think looks wise Harry is quite similar to her first husband, so I think he is her type physically at the very least.

SpinneyHill · 16/01/2020 23:55

Did you miss the bit where they have proof of his hospitalisation that will be presented to the court.

Mummy195 · 17/01/2020 00:00

mustressmoh
And though the public didn't learn of the pregnancy until the palace's official statement, members of the royal family reportedly found out about the good news ahead of time and were able to congratulate the couple in person at Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank on Oct. 12 (via Harper's Bazaar). Surely Eugenie was thrilled to have her special day overshadowed... eek.

The whole thing feels like a big sad mess tbh and is deflecting from what the Royal Family purpose is and the work they are doing (love them or hate them).

I have never been a fan of MM and always felt it was a bit off.

When they announced they were stepping back last week I thought I might have been wrong and maybe she does feel misunderstood and victimised by the press.

Her actions since then though have convinced me my first instincts were right.

She is being disrespectful to the Queen ego welcomed her and the British public who also welcomed her, and she is playing games.
