Oh yes, couldn't be upstaged. I know people label any comparison between Meghan and Kate as hate and racism but the trouble is that it's based on examples. I think Kate was just so incredibly classy at her wedding, you could imagine so many brides looking at their sister in her bum flattering bridesmaids dress and thinking absolutely no...don't want to be upstaged, but she seemed perfectly happy...maybe she was upset with all the headlines after but we'd never know!

Just looked at the Sussex twitter account for the first time. They have re-tweeted someone saying they have 'audited' the Sussex Insta account and found it all above board. They said the same cannot same the same for the Kensington Royal (Cambridge) account.

Why would you retweet that unless you were absolutely out to cause trouble?

What I don't get is surely she knew that if she launched a lawsuit that involved her Dad some of this stuff was going to come out

I didn't understand at the time why she even wrote to her father if he was as toxic as he was made out to be. The distinct impression given then was that he had a fragile personality and the whole family were openly taking up media time so it was almost as though she was offering a hostage to fortune.

Now I just wonder if the whole purpose of the letter was to provide a documented counter narrative if it was needed in the future.

1. Before the aggro with the dad/his side of the family was anyone else invited - e,g had he not blundered and then unfortunately become ill - would it actually have been just him and Doria? Or would the siblings have gone and because he didn't, they didn't?

1. The heart attack - I know it was reported he could evidence he had been in hospital and logistically it might have been difficult but that Meghan didn't go and see him suggested to me at the time that she didn't believe him or it wasn't so serious hence not needing to visit - true?

1. From what I've seen from quotes from Mr Markle - it seems he and Doria are on friendly terms? Eg about delivering Mother's Day flowers to her house...so if he was so toxic and estranged how does this relate? Also - I get they are divorced - but if they were the only people attending the wedding from the family and are on friendly terms, that he didn't get the same info etc as the mum? Accept I am probably way off base but just musing ....

For Heads Bridesmaid she would have had to seriously consider Mulroney who is a looker and very stylish in her own right and would definitely have received attention, because she would have looked stunning. I think M was gorgeous at her wedding and would have been the main star, but there's no doubt had Mulroney been HB there would have been headlines.

I reckon it was just easier to say 'I don't want to upset my friends' and trash the whole idea of a HB. Which is what happened.
