The box contains food I’m giving to the rescue. Two boxes of kitten pouches that I added to my last zooplus order, & some Untamed tins from a trial that are being donated because Madam only ever eats a few mouthfuls before leaving the rest.

We are not impressed. How dare I rip the food from her starving mouth?

Herbie still doesn't bother much with toys, so I doubt he'd be interested in the Ouija board.
I did just get him a couple of Bam catnip fish, which must be fairly potent, as he has been attacking and licking those! Also got a jar of catnip so I can refresh the catnip turtle (it has a pouch you can Velcro the catnip into).

Visited my sister yesterday, and was disappointed that none of her cat visitors came round when I was there. Two doors down lives a lady with 6 cats, and my sister has befriended them-three are black and white, two Torties and one calico. They seem to pop in quite regularly, my sister really should get her own cat or two but she is worried about the fairly busy road she lives on.

My previous cat was so fussy with food too @EmpressaurusKitty.
No such worries with Herbie of course.

I'm getting ready for a holiday, and The Suitcase of Doom has come out. Agatha is now v clingy. She wants to be with me everywhere, including in my pj bottoms when I went to the loo at 4.30 this morning! I've been chatting to her lovely cat sitter, who she's known for 5 years. We are both expecting Agatha to sit at the top of the stairs and glare at her. It's the only photo she ever sends me! 🤣🤣

We are having a bad time with Micia. Since being attacked in the garden by the thug tuxedo she has been hiding in a room in the house- very top floor bad for my poor knees. She is going out to go to the toilet.
Attack was last Sunday and she was getting really confident before - even sitting out looking at outdoor guests rather than under the hedge which was her safe garden place on Saturday. On Tuesday she did go outside with me sticking to me like glue, but it has poured with rain since so I cannot sit out with her.
Now she is even hiding under a bed again!
Did get to brush her once.
Unfortunately we have guests staying over tomorrow so she will hate that.
I am going to love bomb her with chicken and tuna- and hope for a bit of sun so she will get confident outside again
Any ideas?

I know you shouldn’t have to do it, @Breadcat24, but would it be realistic to cat proof the garden so the thug tuxedo can’t get in? Micia doesn’t sound as if she’d mind being limited to that space.

@EmpressaurusKitty Thank you. Garden is pretty enclosed with stone walls and 8 foot privet. But things can get in- I do not think there is a way too proof it- unless we catio'd again and she was so happy when she had free roaming. I am going to get through the visitors then spend all my time reassuring her about the garden. Husband did give aggressor a super soak up the arse. Hopefully there will be some sunny weather next week or I will be sitting in the rain!

I've finally found some cat food that Gizmo won't eat.

It's IAMS wet food. My friend brought round ten pouches because her cat also wouldn't eat it.

Gizmo had a quick sniff, then walked off to try to get Linney's food from him. Linney is quite fussy and I didn't even bother trying him on the IAMS.

I took pity on poor Gizmo and opened a pouch of Felix for him.

I KNOW I have at least 1 fox in my front garden, and going up & down the road outside. Even now as I'm typing I can hear the chittering and screeching going on. Noisy buggers!

Kitty dancing with her Da Bird last night, before having her evening catnip flowers & then crashing in the now empty food box.

Looking pretty good for a 7 year old.

Fred says he is a big scary cat.

Of course he is.

Fascinating. His teeth are as white as his fur. 10/10 for his brushing technique!

He says eating his (imaginary) prey is very good for keeping his teeth clean.

Finlay came home last night without his collar - so put an old one on with the mini Tractive device and re ordered the newer version which is all self contained in the collar - also went out today and bought a new AirTag just to make sure
I messaged DS to let him know as he’s been away this weekend and whilst I was out shopping he went on the hunt and found the missing collar - so when new one arrives will have 3 Tractive devices and an air tag - he is a very expensive hobby but it gives me greater peace of mind

I found Gizmo on my bed in this inviting position just now.

Kitty jumped into the box on the table last night & managed to skid it onto the floor.

She was fine, just shocked. But it’s staying firmly on the floor from now on.

He wants you to tickle his tummy. 😍
