Just been catching up with the previous thread and the new one.
Herbie survived his visit to the cattery while we were in Norfolk the other week, but he was very pleased to see us when we collected him. There were some lovely cats there, including a huge ginger Maine Coone who was desperate for attention.
Here is Herbie in his little glade. It looks quite Autumnal, but that's because everything is so dried up!

Well that didn't work very well...I am having to use computer rather than phone for Mumsnet and the preview doesn't show the photos!
My phone has decided I am 17 (it's DSs old phone) and will not let me access mumsnet which is why I haven't been on here much. (could be a good thing I suppose!)

For the first time in a long time, I have a cat on my bed.

That is a wonderful picture.

He gave many purrs and let me give him tummy tickles. A bit later he had the zoomies downstairs, lept up to perch on the open window acting all brave, then jumped down inside and ran into the kitchen when someone dared to walk past on the other side of the road. The big wimp.

Finlay popped in tonight due to heavy rain! Last night he joined DD and DGD who were having a sleepover at my house ❤️

The Pets at Home Ouija board is back on their website! Fred's is still working but the worm had to be replaced. I am tempted to buy another one for him.

Kitty got bored with hers! I might put it away until Hallowe’en.

I tend to do that with their toys, rotate them all. Although none of the cars have been very playful over the last couple of months but as they're all beginning to leave their cool places, I've just been getting some toys (and catnip) out.

There are some fab dog toys too so I may buy a couple for my dad's dog cause I'm going to visit her for Halloween.

The big favourite at the moment is her Da Bird wand toy, so that’s only coming out for 20 mins or so every evening.

I don't think I trust Matilda with a Ouija board. I don't think she'd try and summon something too evil, but she'd probably find it funny to summon something chaotic. Although thinking about it, Boris would be more of a risk. He's so friendly he'd be conversing with who knows what.

DS (gay) is dating a lovely guy who works for a well known pet company ❤️
The staff discount is very welcome and Finlay appreciates the extra toys and trusts

Busy recently introducing Finlay to my DGD ❤️ going well so far - he sniffed her and approved - i encouraged gentle strokes
