They were!
Really happy to see me. Linney was actually in the front garden when I got back.

They ate a pouch each, then went out again.

We got to the gynae ward at 07.00.
At 13.00 I told them I had to leave and I got dressed and went to the car park, where I sobbed on The Widower's shoulder. I was the only patient on the ward whose husband wasn't with her.
It just hurts me so much that mine knew what I was facing but he still left me.

The doctor followed me out to the car park and she was really kind. She promised me that I'd be done next and that I'd be able to leave at 6pm.

So I went back and had it done.
I've had biopsies taken from within (sorry Grumpy).

I'll have to wait for the histology.

Had labour-like contractions for several hours afterwards.

Anyway, at 6.30 pm I asked if I could go and they let me.
Got back to the house at 9pm.

Oh well, at least it's done now.

Actually, knowing you were all thinking of me made me very happy.

The two boys haven't left my side today. They haven't even gone out, which is not like them. They usually bugger off straight after breakfast.
