In happier news, for the first time in several weeks, Frankenstein gave me three lots of cuddles tonight/this morning. Clearly ye has decided the weather has cooled down enough that he can leave the bathroom!

Rum, that's such a shame. Kittens are surely one of the great uniting forces of the internet.

We love kittens, cats and Harry Potter in this house. (And I love JKR but my children are too young to be interested in authors as people, they just like the stories).

I follow the rescue organisation that Kettle came from and they just posted a video of a litter of 5 13-week-old black kittens ready to find homes. They are too cute, I have to tell myself very firmly that it would not be a good idea 😆

Why would it not be a good idea? It would be a great idea!! 😁 I'm sure Kettle would love younger siblings that he could teach to cat and camouflage.

Could you imagine. Kettle would be telling them how difficult camouflage is, only to turn around and realise the kittens had just vanished into the shadows like ninjas while he was still trying to find something vaguely orange.

She's a nightmare. Honestly, she wrote no fewer than 8 abusive posts about me on a different thread, which has also now been deleted.

Was that the private school thread or do the frothing loons attack you on more than one thread at a time?

This was actually about the likelihood of a woman bearing a second child with severe autism, when her first needs constant care.

I wrote a post saying that it was indeed likely and that set her off, because she kept writing posts saying that I was vile and posting incorrect information. I'm a retired midwife and I have autistic DC myself.

Anyway, it was really because she had got very annoyed with just about everyone on a Mounjaro thread. I got it in the neck because I'm currently the OP of the thread she posted on (and she had most of her posts deleted). Therefore I'm the devil incarnate.
