I have been part of a lovely cat group on FB, following the lives of a litter of kittens and their mum. The mum and one of the babies has been adopted but thankfully the new human slaves are also part of the group so we still get updates. Perfect. Until today. The new slave has called the kitten Draco and the mum Lily which are "Harry Potter names therefore you support the vile woman JKR and also agree with the extinction of trans people, I am triggered!!!" and now the lovely group has turned into a load of posts about how JKR is actually harming trans people and the world is so unsafe and anyone who even looks at a Harry Potter book is evil and wants trans people to die. I don't want to leave the group cause the kittens are ADORABLE but jeez, leave the politics and opinions out of it.
