The episode 'For he can creep' is also very good, and gave me the opportunity for great smugness because I immediately recognised the quote from one of my favouite poems.🤣

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcatsthat has reminded me. When I went to visit my dad, he took me to a pub which has loads of old books. I picked up this one and started reading bits of it, it's quite amusing at times. It's so old that some of the pages are still bound together. Anyway, I googled W H Davies as I hadn't heard of him,only to find out he is the author of the lovely quote "What is this life if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare". I knew the quote but not the author.

I did ask if I could borrow the book and the landlady said I could keep it.

We've just come back from having lunch to celebrate DS2's 30th birthday, to discover those arch-enemies Picard and Gizmo sitting happily together on our bed.

I'm afraid you'll have to take my word for it though, because Picard jumped off and out of the window as soon as he saw us, so there is no pictorial evidence of this startling event.

He has an injected flea treatment twice a year. It’s more expensive, but he really hates the conventional one applied to the back of the neck. I’d ignore it if I could, but I think it’s a condition of his insurance.

He looks like a cat with character, @scalt. And a very handsome one.

In only partial cat news, DS2 has now had the final exam for his degree course and will be coming home this week. (Dear God where did the last three years go? 😲)
He did send me a picture of college cat going about his business a few days ago.

She's a fecking nightmare to get pills into.

DS has one more week and a day of GCSEs to go (with the music appraising exam being last). Then on to A levels I suppose!
