This was my lovely Raki when he was a sweet innocent kitten. He was a big cat when he grew up and he lost his stripes, but he was still very handsome. He ended up living in with an old woman on the next street. He visited her a couple of times and she thought he was a stray because he ate warm roast chicken that she offered him. I did let her know he had a home but I think Raki decided being the centre of attention and getting roast chicken daily was too good an opportunity to turn down.

How are your cats coping with the hot weather? Finlay is very grumpy! He came home around 5 this morning and returned to his furry house until 7 ish this evening and after eating 2 full sachets of Sheba in under 5 minutes decided it was cooling down enough to venture out

I bought a cat cave from Lidl last year, it has sat there unused and last week I thought hmmm, I'm getting rid of it. Until.....

We're still waiting for double digit temperatures unfortunately. Almost there but no danger of overheating cats 😄

You're so lucky. We're about to enter summer here (Med). Kloppy is v heavy and cuddly and Rosie is very clingy - both make my hot flushes worse 🥵

Ours seem to be making the most of the hot weather by snoozing for most of the day but being very active at dawn and dusk. Lenny is clearly enjoying it so much that he hasn't bothered to come home tonight. Dirty stop out. 🐈‍⬛
