Well anyway, even without the photo (which is in a file, and will not upload) I'm relieved to tell you that Gizmo escaped having to have an anaesthetic to see what was going on.

After an hour of excessive drooling, it gradually slowed down, then stopped.

He's back at home now and fast asleep.

I wonder what I've done to the camera app.

Well it won't attach any pictures.

Not new ones, anyway. Here's an old one.

Hope all those excellent cats that have been in the wars or indisposed are now OK/recovering well.

My 2 are very impressed with Sebastian's overnight escapade. (Especially "Madame Chunky Chops" 🤨)

My old cat Gabby had a few instances of copious drooling and it turned out to be fluid on the lungs, so worth keeping an eye on, which I'm sure you will @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne
From what I can vaguely remember, she also struggled to breathe though, 😿

Vixen is officially the most spoilt cat in Cardiff, if not Wales. I cooked her own egg this morning when I had mine. The ungrateful madam sniffed it, licked it a couple of times, then ignored it and waited for me to finish, then cleaned every speck of egg off the plate and shell.

Then she napped.

Kitty has spent most of the morning sunbathing, coming in occasionally to eat, use the toilet or demand attention. In the middle of a game of ball she dashed back out again because she could hear voices & didn’t want to miss whatever was going on.

The sun’s moved on now so she’s transferred herself to the sofa.

Honestly, what a palaver. But there he is, drooling a little. It was much worse before we got him there.

Going back to Groves - my dad bought me the first one when I was 14, I think.

Did the vet know why Gizmo was drooling? Was it something he'd eaten?

Kettle is sulking because nobody will open the front door for him.

Sebastian made me laugh, what an escapade. Hope the next appointment goes better.

She wasn't sure but she thought a piece of grass was slightly stuck in his throat, and made its way down naturally.

He's fine now. As is Sebastian who little knows that he's going to be Really Locked In on Tuesday.

I almost admire Sebastian’s determination. Cat One would definitely do the same thing.
Gizmo is such a strikingly beautiful cat; it kind of makes you forgive him for being so obstreperous. Kind of. Well, no, not really. He is beautiful though.
Cat Four has obligingly given me another couple of great shots of her tail.
Definitely will be one of the prettiest and fluffiest cats in the world.

Tobias has just told me that he very much enjoyed the last of my scrambled eggs with bits of ham cooked in it, but he slightly prefers the salmon fillets baked in butter. So can I get more salmon when I go to Asda tomorrow to top up my co-codamol please?
