No, just lazy! I have been doing regular swimming instead, and once work is a bit less busy, I do plan to get back to the gym. (That will be painful!)
Herbie is not a lapcat so I don't have that excuse! I don't blame you though-Kloppy is very lovely.

Ooft yes that's gonna hurt, I've just returned after 3 weeks (recovering from a cough) and I'm all ouchy.

Kloppy was delighted with the long weekend as he got extra morning cuddles, he weighs a ton though and I worried about thrombosis at one point 😳 Do you think Herbie will ever become a lap cat?

I get reproachful looks sometimes when I abandon Kitty for the gym, but apparently sniffing the washing pile (and my trainers) when I get back makes up for it.

Kloppy licks me when I'm sweaty after exercising 😱 Tabitha used to get all weird and rubby with her head when I came back from the gym, it was like some scent or pheromone in my sweat sent her all loopy 😵

No sign yet of Herbs turning into a lapcat. @PollyCreo .We've had him 2 years and he's 4 now (rescue cat). He likes to be with us and sleeps on beds, but in a contained way, in his own space at the bottom of the bed.

That’s like Kitty. Although I’ve just been permitted to give her a belly rub.

Nothing to do with spending night howling like a banshee at 2am and then running around like a loon

Frankie is also tired today, it's a very hard life being a cat.

Snowcat has taken a bold step and tried walking on the lawn. She would only do it when I sat on the lawn and called her, and at first she mewed pitifully from the edge of the patio. As you can see from her body language, walking on grass requires great courage and ferocity.

Stripey greeted her with great excitement and lots of little purr chirps when she came back in one piece.

Stripey is mostly trying to kill insects on the patio. I think she got stung last week doing this, but it doesn’t seem to have deterred her.

Oh well done Snowcat!

I returned from the afternoon tea club to find Picard sitting outside my house and Linney walking away from it.

Meanwhile, Gizmo was inside, hiding under the clothes horse for some reason, despite it being lovely weather outside.

Linney has returned, to luxuriate in the daffodils.
