We have more NMHCs. Currently sat at a bus stop and a little black and white cat sauntered across the road to say hello. Rolled over for tickles (the belly was a trap) and jumped up on my lap.

When we're away we rarely even see another cat, never mind one who jumps on our lap.

My own cat won't even sit on my lap (standoffish Herbie!)

I think Kitty’s sat on my lap once. Briefly.

The point of the photo was her beautiful floof, but it doesn’t really do justice to it. Then I realised she was looking at the cat on the duvet cover.

We can’t tell if Cat Four is upset anymore. Currently there is more tail than cat.

Gizmo proves that he can take a nap without being immodest.

We have been on holiday. The cats were very happy to have us back. Last night, they took up residence on DH’s pillow next to me and needed some persuasion to move when he wanted to go to bed.

You made them move????????

Stripey scarpered guiltily but Snowcat clung on while DH lifted up the duvet to get under it, and then she just gradually slid along it.

There was also a lot of loud miaowing at 1am as Snowcat remembered that she was glad I was back and wanted me to come out onto the landing so she could tell me about it.

Your girls sound fabulous.

It was less fabulous at 1am.

If Kitty wants my attention at 1am she goes for my foot.

Although she seems to be realising that walking up the bed purring gets a better response.
