That happens all the time in our house! Both idiot cats like to run into the bottom of the wardrobe whenever the door is opened. DH is short-sighted so maintains he doesn't see them in the morning before he puts his contact lenses in 😂 plus they're both black so completely disappear into the void!

My old cat Pigeon onc noe was shut in the utility room for several hours. Luckily it was summer as the utility room is bloody cold. Pigeon couldn't speak so she couldn't shout to tell me she was locked in. I felt so guilty afterwards.

Herbie got on OK at vets. He has lost a very small amount of weight but still needs to lose more!

Also, we now have to brush his teeth every day as he has some gingivitis on a couple of back teeth.

I am now the proud owner of some pet toothpaste, a long handled toothbrush and one you put over your finger and then in their mouth!
What I don't have is the confidence that Herbie will happily accept this new regime!
I'd like to keep my fingers!

I know you're supposed to brush a cat's teeth but I doubt there are many cats who are understanding of the benefits of oral hygiene.

Our vet gave us this. Kitty loves the stuff & licks it off the finger toothbrush.

I get the impression it was made by someone who knows cats. It says brush their teeth with it if you can, if nothing else works put it on a paw so they’ve got to lick it off.

Snowcat has decided that the time she really needs my attention is when I’m in the bath.

We had quite a bit of sensuous rolling on the bath mat and then some dancing

Kitty likes to suck the drips off the corner of my shower mat when it’s hung up to dry.

When Boris and Matilda were kittens I bought a new bathmat, that after a few days I started referring to as the BATH MAT OF DOOM. It was an easy mistake to make and I was very pleased with my new black, soft, large and reasonably priced Ikea bathmat, which I placed in front of the shower. Matilda and Boris seemed to think that if they stood on the bathmat they would be transported to some kind of kitten hell dimension, but they weren't going to let that get in the way of exploration. They seemed to decide that as long as they kept at least two paws on either the floor or the shower they were safe. They spent the next few days circling around it with two paws always in a safe area, before it seemingly lost its evil and they could safely stand in the middle.

Pa Broon went out into the garden to sort out the bins this morning, to discover a thoughtfully placed mouse's head on the doorstep.

We decided that Linney had left it there, as an early lunchtime treat for us.

We moved around the pots in our courtyard garden. One of the pots to move was Cat Three’s latest favourite sleeping pot. Here is a photo of him sitting forlornly wondering where he will sleep now, after circling round and round the pot in his spot now.
